I'm have been living in CR Park; the so called 'Mini Kolkata' of South Delhi since birth. Just like Kolkata, CR Park is a place to get all kinds of delicious & hygienic 'Street Food' & the best place for that is the CR Park Market No.1, where you'll get almost all kinds of 'Street Food' that the city of Kolkata can offer you, however, just to clear the air, CR Park is one of the poshest areas in South Delhi, so the prices might be way higher than Kolkata, especially during Durga Puja. Therefore, if you're planning to visit CR Park to eat your heart out, then beware that the prices of food items may hurt your pocket more than you expected, so my advise is to go prepared with the greens in your pocket.

No market can be called a good market without proper traffic management and parking plans. The traffic conditions and width of roads is just not acceptable considering the footfalls, population density in the surroundings and importance of the area from city point of view. Surrounded area of the market also doesn’t have proper connecting roads, unplanned infra is again another reason to avoid this area for living and commuting to this place..

If you live panipuri and sweets do visit here without hesitation.its worth it very much....take your date out in a sweet tooth date..lol have a nice day

It's a good market for shopping. The kamla sweets for Bengali sweets is superb here. The white rasgullas are a great hit ,👍👍👍 …

Walking down the lane,away from home I felt nostalgic and amazing it was like kolkata bazar.... Old people chattering in front of a tea stall about cricket and politics which is usually favorite topic of bengalis.. Stall were similar to kolkata, everyone is speaking in bengali what a relief😌, fish market is on the corner, welcomes you wholeheartedly 😀 prices are at hike right now.. Hilsa is ₹1600 and ₹1000 depend on the budget, morula fish, bhetki ₹1600 and fillet is ₹1500... There is Catfish, sole, prawn and pabda prawn..On the other side, a shop with every bengali masala,papad, ghee, gur, bori all things you need to cook fish, are on every corner, don't have to waste time.. Sweet shop for sweet tooth, vegetables are fresh and reasonable price.. For foodie people like me, Chinese stall, wow momo and bengalis favorite roll and fish cutlet, chicken cutlet, and vegetable chop, mocha chop are on straight line taste is good and average... Like reading books or newspaper take a turn towards a small alley you will find all the essential things need for your home.. It's situated in the residential area, mornings are busy, go late evening avoid less crowd due to covid19 for your own safety...Auto or cab fare is usually ₹60 -₹80.. Coming from Nehru place takes 10 min.. Hope you find it helpful ✌

Expensive Items are sold at MRP with no discounts offered on any item Roads and footpaths have been encroached upon by fruit and vegetable vendors and small time shopkeepers and it causes inconvenience to shoppers and motorists and the residents This should be looked into by the association of mkt no.1 & 2

I am foodie... And this market is famous for Bangali food item. I mostly visit for Raju Chaat wala for his golgappe and chat. Also you can try delicious Mishti doi (A famous Bangla Sweet)
