Ghazipur Fish Market

All kinds of fishes are available here at reasonable prices. But the place is very dirty and smells very bad. The chicken market beside this market is also very filthy. Take care before going to this place.

Best fish market in delhi ncr

Fish market is very popular here...also if we compare the rate between local fish shop and fish Mandi then I would suggest everyone to buy from your nearest local fish shop rather than visiting to fish Mandi. Yes, the price maybe low here compared to local shop but if we calculate the headache for going and coming to the Mandi, and then you have to hire a new fish cutter to make it clean and pieces...so if you want to ignore all these headache then just go for local fish shop I would suggest. Thanks

Better go with dirty or old shoe 😉 Best time to visit is in the morning. Cheap rate yes ( better roam around a bit ) lot of varieties here For chicken it's cheaper than market price. 150-160 Kg Kabab absolutely loved it.(must buy from vendors sitting outside) Beware of mutton some of the vendors mix beef fat mutton fat. Good luck.

Many varieties of sea fishes available at wholesale prices.

Whole sale / Retail market place for buying fish. But live fish is rarely available. And make sure you visit before 10 so that you have more options. Do not expect neat environment here, its a whole sale market and the ambience is same as other markets. Not good option to buy meat and chicken.

A fish lover's paradise. The sooner you reach the better.. reaching by dawn is suggested.. not a very car friendly place as parking is scanty. Carry bags of your own..

The place has lots of good fish at very cheap price, you get amazing variety at 60% of the market price. I gave less rating because of only 1 factor - Cleanliness. Someone from market should take initiative to keep the market clean and repair the broken pavements and roads.

One has to go very early in the morning (before 7 am) to get a good purchase. Market is as usual not clean. Smell is there. But one can choose fish from different vendor. Quality is good. Price is good. And there is very less to bargain. Better if you can avoid girls with you because of cleanliness and smell. One more thing, one has to purchase min. a kilo of fish.
