Large fish market. You get varities of fish to choose from. They also sell 🦀. Couple of shops were selling live fish as well, which is generally rare. Price was economical or comparitavely less comprared to areas like Chattarpur, Katwaria Sarai, Gurgaon (Sikanderpur fish market) etc. Surrounding area was a bit unhygenic.

My friends and me bought 1 big tuna fish from this market and devided into four.after having the lunch my whole family got admitted in the hospital for itching, redness whole over the body and severe abdominal pain. My friends also had the same issues.. Thank u fish mandi for your best services

I went to Ghazipur fish&Egg market on a sunday morning at about 9'O clock. Most of the stock was already cleared. But the place was still bustling with people. Good variety of fish at good prices. One should have a good knowledge of fish and good bargaining skills if you want a great deal. Parking is inside the compound if you have your vehicle. And its a bit of a hassle. Its very messy and dirty all around, so you should carry some newspapers, if you dont want to dirty your car. Make sure you park in a dry place, which is bit of a myth. Otherwise passing by vehicls will splash dirty water on your vehicle. Also plastic bags are strictly not provided by the shopmeepers so mame sure you carry your own supply.

It needs lot of organising. Permanent place should be arranged for those who are sitting on the Road and for those who cúts fish, Lot more cleaning is required. Many things are to organised. One should visit large fish market in Bangkok & Seoul.

Timings from 5am to 12 noon. It is better to reach earlier else most of the sea food will be sold if you reach after 11 am Ghazipur Fish Market is a wholesale Fish Market. The largest in NCR as of Apr/2018. However, the sellers will sell their produce to individuals buying small amounts for their home. Be prepared to carry your bags for what you purchase else you will end up purchasing bags (both the cloth variety and poly variety) being sold for those who come unprepared. The sellers will clean and cut the fish for you if you ask them but you will be charged for this service. The sea food available is excellent, though the cleanliness/hygiene is an issue. This is because though the sellers have proper shops but they display their wares outside the shop as well, in crates / on sheets spread on the ground. You will find most fish/sea food that you might be interested in - Surmai, Hilsa, Promfret, Cat fish, Basa, Singhara, Pabda, Boal / Mully / Sareng, Tilapia, Rohu, Prawns, King prawns, shrimp etc. There are also shops which sell semi prepared stuff like kebabs etc. Besides, the rates are far lower than what you would be charged by your local sellers (after all it is a wholesale market). But the best part is you will get the fish of your choice in the size of your choice and of-course fresh. If you like a fish variety buy it ASAP, as I saw the whole lot of a variety of fish being purchased from a shopkeeper in front of me. I believe it is the best fish market in NCR. I remember a comment made by a Bengali colleague who bought bawal fish from here and when he took it home, his father commented that it is better than what they got in Kolkatta.

Wholesale fish market for entire NCR region. This is the only place to get many varieties of sea fish. Fish and other sea foods are available to buy only during 6 am to 10 am, earlier the better. Parking is available inside though little congested.

A typical Whole sale market for fishes in Delhi. However, the beauty of this market is that most of these wholesale sellers are ready to sale in the range of 1 kilograms or above. A variety of fishes and crabs, live or frozen, are sold here. Sitting in a landlockked place like Delhi, one can get various sea fish ranging from different type of prawns to salmon (Bhetki) to exotic River fish such as Singi, Pabda, Morola etc. Here the prices is quite reasonable or rather in lesser side once compared to other famous Fish selling spots of Delhi such as CR Park or Green Park etc. The way to Market is fully motarable and market has enough space to park own vehicles. All through the way enough signboards are there to guide you to the market. There are lot of Fish cleaner available inside market itself, who will clean and cut your purchase in required size for small amount of Rs 5 onwards. The key to buy in this place is Bargain and Bargain. All the sellers are ready to reduce their prices by few Rupees depending on your skill of Bargaining. Before going for Buy, it is better to roam around to get the feeling of prices for the day of the product. The good catch usually finish before 0800 in morning. One unique thing is that one has to bring his own polythene packet for weighing and buying in limited quantity. Though the retail sellers are available inside the market to sell single polythene packets. The place is not very clean from the view of "Class" but enough clean for 'Masses'.

Best place to buy fish. Almost 3 fold cheaper than e-commerce quoted prices and best quality fishes. Strongly recommend to take pain and purchase fish from here you will be in great profit.
