Anand Vihar Nursery Delhi Government Forest Department

Staff is pathetic, always have reason to deny, they ask online booking print out and aadhaar card print out, hard copy I had to visit two times burnt 10km of fuel two times to get 10 free plants. 4 star for Plants. Mr Mukul is never available, mobile number on website is incorrect.

Bad experience Mentioned 24hours open on Monday, reached at exact 5 pm , they were saying we don't give u plants we have to go home , while they were preparing for chicken n having plans for drinking alcohol .. Requested for 10-15 times thn finally gave us few plants only And one more thing there were lots of varieties of plants u have to search for it because they have sectioned it .. Only those plants they mentioned on their website list they kept in front of the nursery so that they don't have to do much efforts... Also they kept all my documents photocopy like adhar card, pan card i asked them to return it to me but they denied! Plz take it back or take a mask adharcard for this purpose only if u r planning for a visit. Plz go before time so that u can choose the healthy plants from there as many of them are completely spoiled or deteriorate !! Lastly on their website, they only list few plants Like only 10 as only 10 plants are allowed per person so it's wrong if they are doing it purpose fully !

This nursery near Anand vihar railway or bus station is Govt funded and has a good variety of plants and trees sampling. Delhi govt is offering free plants as part of a scheme currently and you can book online from the available list of plants as per the size. However in reality you may not get all as per the list and the caretaker team will say they are over at present. No, worries you get any other plant available and they will all be free of charge. Good way to promote greenery and gardening culture. 1 star less for office staff behaviour and replies otherwise happy with experience
