They need photo copy of everything and for the Anand Vihar nursery they charged us 200 rs for parking so think before going there.

Very bad..jab bhi gae khali hath lote..febuary mai gae to kaha march mai ana..march mai gae to kaha pehle online form bharo jabki id pe podhe mil rahe hai.

Not worth the effort of visiting. No staff member or any gardener will be helpful. They kept saying "aapko jo dekhna hai dekh lo aur aa kar humko bata do jo lena hai". If you wish to come here, be a pro in horticulture 'coz they aren't going to even to help you with finding plants let alone tell u anything more. Coming to the plants, there's no plant apart from roadside or govt.-park-grown trees/bushes that you'll find here. Sheesham, peepal, banyan, etc. i can better get these saplings at the bottom of already grown big trees in my society park. And if at all you do visit, dont expect any decency from the person at the front desk. #horrible

there are few varieties of plant which you can take. for few, they refused. i wanted a banyan plant cuz i want to make a bonsai. but they refused. they also refused for ashok plant. plants which are in katta, they refused those also. only plants which are in black poly pack, you can take. for household purpose, only 10 plants are given now, lets come to their service. spare some extra time to visit this, they are slow in their work. and the uncle who showed me plants , was very very slow. max. times he doesn't even reply when i asked about any plant or some question. max. time he was on phone , and doesnot even listening to me. then he kept looking the time as it remains open till 4pm. and, one more thing. bring someone with you,cuz you have to pick and carry your plants yourself from one corner to your vehicle. no one helps, even if they are walking along with you. but , the good thing is that you ultimately get free plants🪴. i got champa, red kaner, yellow kaner peepal, desi palm, curry patta,ixora and red alternanthera. apart from this, they have plenty of jamun plant, ashwagandha, and various medicinal n fruit plants.which ia not my area of interest. there are 3 parts ,however i could visit only one due to time constraint. for other 2 nurseries, you dont have to sign a different form. only one form is required to visit and collect plants from all 3 parts. i hope, that helps

Closed on Sunday , timings for Monday - Saturday are 10am -1 pm, 2 pm-4pm. Also you need to book your seedlings online from the website and you need to bring a photocopy of aadhaar card and screenshot of your online booking, when you are coming here. They might not have some plants which you booked online, in exchange of that you can have any other sapling.

Go and grab your favourite plants at this Government run Nursery free of cost. You can get about 10-15 plants as per availability. They have a lot of variety and the exotic ones run out fast. Try and go for plants native to Delhi's own climate. They have plenty. Brilliant initiative. The people on duty have to be dealt with request and respect.

Its a Delhi Government Nursery where many medicinal, relegious and herbal plants are available. For e.g Champa, Patharchatta, Aloevera etc. But flowers and exotic plants 🪴 are not available. Manure is also not available. Staff is very co operatice especially Chandra Pal who works here. Please bring a plastic bag with you and you can take 10 - 15 saplings for free.

One needs to register online for free plants. 10 saplings are provided only to those strictly residing in Delhi. The staff is cooperative and patiently helps in registration (if not done earlier) and selection of plants.In afternoon one can reach here between 1400-1600hrs. Closed on Saturday,Sunday and other Govt Holidays.
