We’ve purchased two carpets from this store before, and the quality has always been excellent. After exploring other options, we realized nothing compared to the craftsmanship here. The staff took the time to understand our design preferences and helped us find the perfect match. Looking forward to visiting again soon!

We visited the shop to find a wedding gift and we were helped by Renuka. She was extremely helpful and kind - assisting and advising us with everything. All the staff were very friendly! Thank you so much Renuka - we recommend!

I was there shopping on July 1, 2024. Good place, lots of souvenirs and things in one place. Prices higher for sure. What touched me the most was the fraud - namely, the nice lady visible in the attached photo "sold" me an artificial material saying it was silk... see in the photo how the "silk" melted and became plastic... and not natural ash. .. I wasn't looking for a cheap material imitating silk - I wanted a natural, breathable material... It's very sad :-( that they try to make money by lying and cheating and the karma comes back... I have such a bad taste from my last day in Delhi - I have always respected the inhabitants of this beautiful and friendly country, but I think it's time to verify my views :-/.

Sent Here Through a Scam — Fake Goods, Overpriced, and Dark Energy I was brought to India Loom as part of a travel scam in Delhi, and the entire experience was manipulative and unsettling. The shop is massive and maze-like—you quickly lose your sense of direction, which seems intentional. Once you’re inside, you’re surrounded by overly persuasive salespeople who make it hard to say no. The pressure is constant, and the prices are massively inflated. One of the worst parts: I bought a ring they claimed had real diamonds, complete with a “certificate of authenticity.” Later, I had it evaluated and found out the diamonds are fake—and so is the certificate. It’s outright fraud. There’s a very dark, toxic energy in this place. It doesn’t feel like shopping; it feels like being trapped in a well-rehearsed scam. I ended up spending far more than I should have on items I didn’t need and were not what they claimed to be. Tourists, be warned: This is not a cultural experience—it’s a high-pressure, overpriced, and dishonest operation. Avoid at all costs.

If you see this message: you are about to be scammed!!! Indian Loom operates an elaborate scheme to trap foreign tourists using tuk-tuk drivers and smooth talking “friendly strangers” on the street. A saleswoman named Shamina swindled me into buying “linen” trousers that were supposedly “hand-woven linen.” It was of course, not the case. A simple water test or burning test of the fabric can confirm. If you are scammed and have not left India, fear not! Indian Loom fears the TAF (Tourist Assistance Force) and also the fees that they will get if you report them as a fraud to your credit card company. Simply take your products back and demand a refund, demonstrating why the sale was fraudulent. I was firm and was granted a refund despite the receipt saying “no refunds.” They told me it would take 2 weeks to process, but I only just now received it after 4 weeks (go figure). Do not give your money to these fraudsters!

We felt like queens in our clothes from India Loom!!! Prices were higher than we expected but the team only offered us items in our price range and didn’t try to upsell, which was very kind. The tailoring was excellent and the longer lehenga tops we requested looked perfect. Thank you all!!!

They were incredibly helpful and tailored the dresses just to us. We tried on many dresses and they helped show us how to wear them all correctly. It was such a blast and the 4 of us felt so safe and comfortable and BEAUTIFUL! Kedy was very helpful and fun!

India Loom was one of our favourite shopping experiences in India. We ended up visiting multiple times over three or four days and kept finding new things each visit. The store just seems to go on forever, with room after room filled with clothing, fabrics, gifts and unique finds. What impressed us most was the range. Whether you're looking for formal wedding wear, beautiful saris, custom-made outfits, casual pyjamas, fun Indian clothing, t-shirts, scarves or gifts to take home, it's all under one roof. They offer both ready-made pieces and made-to-measure tailoring, which made the experience incredibly easy. Several outfits and sari pieces were made for us during our stay and we were very happy with both the quality and workmanship. Prices were fair, quality was excellent, and the staff were warm, patient and genuinely helpful without being pushy. If you're visiting Delhi and want a one-stop shop for Indian fashion, gifts and tailoring, India Loom is well worth a visit. We arrived intending to browse and left with suitcases full of treasures.

Classic auto-driver tourist scam, don't buy anything. If you get brought here, just get in, look around for 5 mins and leave saying you don't want anything. If the auto driver talks to you again and demands you buy something, tell him to back off and you'll be fine.

★☆☆☆☆ — Predatory Sales Tactics and Tourist Rip-Off I would strongly recommend that tourists avoid India Loom in Delhi. In my experience, this store takes advantage of tourists through extremely aggressive and predatory sales tactics. The salespeople continuously pressure you to make a purchase, even after you’ve clearly said no multiple times. They refuse to take no for an answer and make the entire shopping experience incredibly uncomfortable. It feels like their strategy is to wear you down until you finally give in and buy something. To make matters worse, the prices are outrageous. I found that the same or comparable products were available at other stores or even on Amazon in the United States for approximately $100 USD less than what India Loom was charging. What should have been an enjoyable shopping experience turned into an incredibly frustrating one. Tourists should be able to shop without being pressured, manipulated, or significantly overcharged. Save your money and shop elsewhere.
