There are a few negative reviews but my experience was very positive. Yes, they are trying to sell you things, but what do you expect, it is a shop!! I had a bespoke suit made which was delivered to my hotel, in a suit carrier which fits like a glove for the same price as a cheaper off the peg number in the UK. The staff were all polite and courteous and understood if you were not interested.

This store is a classic bait-and-switch operation. At first glance, the elegant interior, seemingly friendly staff, and beautiful pashminas create the illusion of a high-quality shopping experience. However, the friendliness quickly fades if you don’t make a purchase, and the products themselves are far from genuine. We were shown what were claimed to be authentic pashminas and paid accordingly—only to receive polyester shawls with unraveling “needlework.” Fortunately, we realized the deception in time by burning the pashmina and watching it melt and smell of plastic. Luckily, we were able to return the item for a refund. Tellingly, the staff didn’t argue or deny the issue, suggesting they were well aware of the product’s inauthenticity. Save yourself the trouble—don’t waste your time or money here.

The staff here are friendly and attentive, making the shopping experience enjoyable from start to finish.

Strong recommendation to avoid this place. Lots of beautiful rugs, trinkets, and other handicrafts. However, you get roped in immediately by every sales trick in the book and EVERYTHING is overpriced. Same items were far cheaper at the airport. YMMV.

Tourist Trap, Avoid at All Costs! Our taxi driver took us to this store, claiming that the shop we originally wanted to visit was closed. In reality, it was not closed at all. This place clearly pays tuk-tuk and taxi drivers to bring tourists here, it’s nothing but a scam. The prices are ridiculously high, and the staff does everything possible to pressure you into buying. The whole experience feels like a setup to take advantage of visitors. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place entirely!
