Was taken here by my day tour of Delhi guide and blown away by the quality of carpet's and the story of the Kashmir villages that make them. Purchased a small one and took advantage of the Indian government scheme to cover the shipping costs to promote the sale of local produce. I was told that the transit time would be 8-10 days and true to their word nine days later it was delivered. Fantastic.

Overpriced and middling quality. Purchased some custom trousers and had them delivered. Will need to have them tailored again as they are not my size, extremely dissatisfied.

One of the most common tourist scams in Delhi, I knew but I also wanted to see how they get you. So I followed my tuk tuk driver. Needless to say they are very good at pressuring you once you walk in. And it’s of course instantly noticeable that it’s a huge tourist trap. With some negotiating - you’ll be able to bring the price down and it will be maybe only slightly over priced. If you’re from a first world country, honestly the few dollars you overpay doesn’t amount to much so I just bit the bullet. But beware - you may get an even higher price if you’re not Asian. Also the finale of the experience is writing in a visitor book where you get to see other victims of their tactics and see their messages. Overall I would never recommend knowing it’s a huge trap, but you can get to okay levels of prices if you pull out enough.

Do not buy here! Low quality, high price and simply kind of a scam. In case of wanting some Money back be sure to involve the police. They do not react on any message. Waiting since more than 2 weeks for a refund that the manager told me will be at my account in 5-8 days.

They get two stars because the rugs are indeed beautiful, but the store uses gross, high pressure sales methods (including an outright lie that we caught) that are very repulsive. If you go, don't bother trying to browse the shop in lieu of purchasing a rug--there are salespeople literally hovering around every corner. You literally have to walk out--they don't take no for an answer. Oh, and be prepared to hear some sexist stereotypes. I do NOT recommend visiting this shop unless you are specifically in the market for a rug that will be a minimum $800 USD.
