Every Indian you meet within 3 miles of this place will try to bring you here because they get a free lunch voucher for doing so. Prices are awful. You can find the same stuff basically anywhere else for 1/4 to 1/10th the price. Paid 1800 rupees for some shirts that they claim to make there, saw the same shirts at another market on the other side of Dehli for 200 rupees a couple days later (it is POSSIBLE the shirts were different, but my untrained eye counted see any difference). I had custom suits made at 3 different tailors around India... all of which were "Tourist agency" rip-off spots, and the price quoted at India Loom was STILL nearly double the price I paid for my other suits. I mean, they have a good selection of stuff in one spot, but I wouldn't buy anything but low price stuff here. Oh, a tuk tuk driver told me the way to tell if a shawl is actually cashmere or pashmina instead of synthetic is to take a strand of it off and burn it. If it smells like burnt hair it, at least, isn't synthetic. The shawl I bought here did not pass that test...

Fantastic experience!!! We are going to a wedding and got incredible help to choose our proper outfits. But be aware - once you go inside you will never want to leave!!!! To many nice things 😍 Thank you so so much for your wonderful hospitality …

As has been mentioned by others, this shop uses predatory practices and high pressure sales tactics to get tourists and the unsuspecting to pay exhorbitant prices for goods. In fairness, they have a very broad selection of items, but I would AVOID this shop. We needed a suitcase for our trip home and ended up paying at least 2x what we would pay in the US. The experience left a pallor over an otherwise wonderful trip to Dehli. I WOULD DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMEND THIS SHOP.

This place is the worst. I was charged 3x what I should be for an outfit and it’s ripped on the seam which I noticed after I left the shop. The quality is poor. We got tricked by someone at Connaught place who put us in a tuktuk on first day in India. Do not trust anyone

Felt pressured to buy. Definitely a scam, just like the other tourists, we were told to come here by our TukTuk driver. All of the customers in the shop were tourists. Our TukTuk driver even tried to get us to some other store, fortunately we didn’t buy anything there. Got a saree and 2 dresses at Indian Loom, which I planned to get anyway, and paid 5300 rupees. I’m sure I would’ve paid a lot more if I had accepted the first price, but I told them that I had a budget of 5000 rupees. The only thing I’m concerned about now is the quality. I’m giving 2 stars because they are pushy, they literally don’t leave you alone, they are expensive compared to the other shops, and the TukTuk drivers pretend to be friendly just to get you into this shop. Also the quality is questionable. Probably the best thing you can do is pay as little as possible and avoid buying things that are expensive in general (here most likely you won’t get the original), or just don’t buy anything at all.

Bought some jewelry from this store and when we got back to our home country, a jeweller told us it was fake. Before coming to this store, we were approached by extremely friendly people on the streets that were pushing us to go to this store. Unfortunately, we fell for it and you could say that we got scammed in this store.

Warning - scamming tourists. Avoid if you don't know what you are doing. I was scammed into going here by someone at my hotel. Even after saying I didn't want to go, the tuk tuk literally wouldn't stop insisting that I just look. I ended up finding a kurta pajama that I needed for the wedding I was attending. But once I looked at my bank statement they ended charging me 10x what they quoted. If you are smarter than me, it could be a good place. They did take really good care of me. But, the bill certainly elevated it to scam level.

Don't go. Prices for tourists, 10 times higher than on the street shops. Near Palinka bazar and Connaught you will find people that "help you selflessly " and tell you to go there if you want to buy souvenirs, that they have Indian prices, but it's not true. With respect to the answer, i am sure you know or you can expect that these people lie, and in case you didn't, now you know, and if you are paying them then you are partly responsible for this so i would advise you that you suggest them not to do it because this will only get you bad reviews, from what i see i am not the only one with a bad opinion. And i didn't say anything about the quality of your products (you are the ones that mentioned the word scam, not me), i don't know because i left as soon as i entered since it was clear it was an OVERPRICED SHOP FOR WHITE TOURISTS, the price of some things were high even for european standards, imagine for indian ones.
