Naval Book Depot

A looting shop working under the umbrella of private school to cut the pocket of the parents for each and every item they sold on behalf of school. A third class quality book they are selling at the cost of Rs.700-800.The same book can be printed on Good GSM paper at less than the half value from their price in the market on individual level, if the same printed on bulk order than the price the same will come around less than 300. Un necessary advantage has been given to this Naval Book depot to looting the parents.

They do keep a variety of books and stationery items apart from the prescribed syllabus of various schools. But the long queues on busy days are very tiring. Also you need to call beforehand to confirm if they are giving away your required books on that specific date as they won't mind turning customers away after the long wait, if that's not your day.

All kind of stationery stuff, every school homework stuff, all indoor and outdoor playing stuffs, one stop for all your school and office things, name it they have it. Known this shop for last 30 year's. Staffs are very cooperative and helpful.

Little bit overcrowded but all stationery is available.

The lady sitting on the counter doesn't know how to talk to customers. I know people are supposed to maintain distance and should talk maintaining distance. That lady rudely told me "ki plastic k piche se baat kr loge to bhi sunai de dega". I mean Ofcourse I know that.. and I was talking in humble way to the apprentice from behind the plastic. But, since, he was not able to listen properly, I bent down a little bit to tell him about the book which I was supposed to buy. That's it. I have been a regular customer of Naval Book Depot and after so many years I came back to buy some stuffs and this is the way she talked to me... I would like the owner of the shop to advise her to atleast show some respect towards the customer and talk politely and not behave like an illiterate person.

Naval Book Depot per sari types ki books NCERT competition level ki books SSC se related acche rate per aur discount ke sath mil Jaati Hain aur copies files magazines college ki jarurat ko Saman jaise ki dissection kit Aur Bhi Kafi sari geometry box is colours and practical files drawing book and more options double Book Depot also selling guides kunji

Was asked to buy additional stationery along with the prescribed school books even though when I did not require them... this is taking undue advantage of the pandemic situation because the book set is not available anywhere else... quite an unethical practice

Taking precautions, well organized shop. Exclusive store for Tagore International, the Foundation and many more. Online payment mode is also available. Deducting one star for lack of parking space.

It's an ok place for book store. You can get all kinds of course books but if you want any extra activities or more options for text books then they have a limited collection. There minus point is the location. Although I never faced parking problems there.
