Delhi By Cycle

We did the walkingtour through the busy shopping street near the Red Fort. Dhitri was our wonderful guide. It was truly unforgetable! The light, the people, the animals, the colours... wauw. I loved it! Ofcourse... you can go the modern Indian mall and stuff, but this walk gives an inside in the not so modern parts of Delhi and it is so amazing to experience that. Bring some cash cause you will see beautiful food and items along the way.

11th July marked my very first cycling tour with Delhi by Cycle, and what an incredible experience it was! 🚴✨ From the beginning till the end, everything was well planned, enjoyable, and full of positive vibes. As someone joining for the first time, I felt completely comfortable and had an amazing time exploring the city in a unique way. A big thank you to the team for making my first ride so memorable. I can't wait to join more tours in the future. If you're looking for a fun, safe, and refreshing solo or group outing, I highly recommend giving it a try!

It was a wonderful cycling tour—exploring Ghalib Ki Haveli with beautiful poetry made the experience truly special. Ending it with a refreshing tea at Nagori Tea Stall was the perfect touch. Special thanks to Satyam, Faiz, and Suraj for their guidance and support.

We did a bike tour with Jehu and Mukesh on our first day in Delhi, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip. Cycling through the city's lively streets as Delhi woke up was an incredible experience and gave us a unique perspective on everyday life. Jehu's fascinating stories and historical insights added so much depth to the tour, making the city come alive in a way we wouldn't have experienced on our own. Both Jehu and Mukesh were fantastic guides, and we thoroughly enjoyed every moment. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Delhi!

Let me tell you about my experience with DBC. I first heard about it from a fellow traveller and I’ve done it three times now, every single time, I’ve loved it. Cycling through Chandni Chowk, listening to old stories, exploring Yamuna ghat on a chilly winter morning with a hot cup of tea… aur kya chahiye? 😊

A great tour for confident bike riders. Most of the route is quiet avoiding the mayhem of Delhi traffic Shivam and Faiz do a great job of shepherding riders. Good varied itinerary.

Wow, what an adventure this was! Even though the traffic was chaotic and busy compared to our Dutch experience, we never felt unsafe thanks to the great guidance by Shivam and Mukesh. We probably used our bike bells more in these four hours than we've done in our entire lives back home! Shivam was extremely knowledgeable and his infectious enthusiasm in explaining all there was to learn about Old Delhi was inspiring. Mukesh went to get us some Indian tea and a typical Indian snack and he even got us the tea in terracotta cups (most often served in to-go cups) which added to the flavour and the experience. We would definitely recommend this wonderful trip!

DBC is doing a great work, went on a cycling tour with these guys and it was so thrilling to see Delhi with a different angle. Highly recommend to book their cycle tour once.

I cannot enough thank Ashutosh & Suraj to guide me on a privat Nizamudin cycling tour, afternoon on 22. march 26. i went to Delhi again for a short 2 days layover incoming from singapore meeting friends. Hence the crazy traffic u manage to survive as westerner, i wanted to explore how it feels like cycling through the street hell of traffic. So i booked last minute and did it right. 4 hours went by easy cycling like nothing. First of all, you get a glimps of traffic flow in india works. It looks aggresivly like everybody is making its way, but its much more diverse. The constant sound of horns is a sign of be aware and as long as you keep with the flow u are safe. In the hierarchy cyclest are way down compared to busses trucks and cows of course. But its safe as long as u follow your senses and the signes of the moving myriads… the tour perfectly covered busy avenues as well as green quiet streets and narrow slum aisles. Highlight was the street art at paintrd buildings at lush green Lohdi Quarter. Crowned by the blooming Lohdi Garden. I would repeat and do the Old Delhi Tour next time, even iam less a early morning guy -:). The bikes are spotless maintained equipped with a basket for private stuff. Thanks guys it was awesome sunday afternoon.
