Sadar Bazar Shopping

Asia,s biggest whole sale and oldest market. Hundreds of shops are existed in so many very small lanes bye lanes only approachable on foot. After Sadar Bazar come qutub Road market ,then come big whole Sale market Khari Baoli and then big known market Chandni Chowk all I'm same line up to Red Fort within radios of about 4 to 5 kilometers

Very very busy market. Lots of store and you will get everything here for home or for shop. But you have to be very careful there are many frauds and you have to choose shop by your own decision don't go with any agent.

Good place for shopping

Interesting question given that I have lived in that area for 50 years. So, I know where to go and get what I need. Good to see that the old shops are renovated and stock things to suit every pocket/ taste !

Cheap here but be aware of anyone offering "tourist" guide. They'll pretend to take you to a rooftop with nice scenery but will not tell you it'll cost you 300 INR per person until you're up there and another X INR for walking around the rooftop. They'll offer you 100 INR per hour on the rickshaw ride but will not tell you it's per person. Do it cause it's cheap but stand firm and remember exactly what the person said. Once you challenge him (haven't seen any her) on what he said, he will back off. Once you smell a rat, cut the "tour" short, say thanks and pay the "right" amount you agreed. They will also take you to "cheap" spice shops but if you don't know the pricing, you'll end up paying double. Check around the area first before buying. Thieves will definitely try to open any backpack you have. I purposely left my backpacks behind with tissue paper and hand sanitizer so they decided not to take anything even though they managed to open it without my knowledge... :D

From A to D all types of goods are available here, market is very good and prices are very low as compared to other markets but the whole market is very very crammed with people. You have to make yourself aware of Pickpockets and theives. The majority of the traders in Sadar is wholesalers they won't give you single piece item but some also give single or lot. The things available in market is Belts, all types of Toys, Hardware, crockery,Mats, Household items, Stationery items, Threads, Cards, Artificial Jewellery, etc

Unlimited options and even full day not sufficient to explore this market. The galies are very narrow and some times it seems fearful and going to be lost when u r with family and children. Very crowded throughout the day. I suggest First go alone to explore the routes then take the families.

It is very good market for everything and you can find anything here which you want its most largest market of Delhi and anything you want you can buy it with reasonable price and it you can also buy wholesale and retail the only reason I am cutting 1 star is the traffic traffic is unbeatable and the crowd is so much that you cannot shop well because of the crowd that's it
