It is disappointing to write this because I have always had good experiences with Geetanjali, but this was the first time I came across such untrained, unfriendly, and rude staff—especially Tarun, who introduced himself as the store manager. I visited the Priya, Vasant Vihar branch for a hair wash and a regular hair dry. From the moment I declined a blow dry, the staff seemed to lose interest in serving me. After washing my hair, the stylist started drying it with a flat brush. I politely requested that they simply use a round (rolling) brush to curl the ends of my hair. I wasn’t asking for a full blow dry—just a simple finishing touch that would have taken barely a couple of minutes. Instead of accommodating such a basic request, the staff repeatedly refused and kept pushing me to upgrade to a blow dry. There was no additional effort involved; I only wanted the ends styled with a round brush after the regular dry. To my surprise, they refused outright. The situation became even more unprofessional when one side of my hair was left wet because I declined the service they were insisting on. It was clear they were unwilling to complete the service unless I paid for a blow dry. Throughout the interaction, they behaved as though I didn’t understand the difference between a regular dry and a blow dry. I have been a regular customer at Geetanjali and have also visited several reputed salons over the years. In my experience, even during a regular hair dry, stylists commonly use a round brush for basic finishing. A blow dry is a more detailed styling service, but using a rolling brush for the ends is not an unreasonable request. What disappointed me the most was Tarun’s attitude. Rather than trying to resolve the issue or ensure customer satisfaction, he was extremely rude and repeatedly told me that I could simply leave without paying. I eventually did not pay because the service I requested was never completed. I was still willing to pay something for the wash, but his behaviour made it clear that customer satisfaction was not a priority. Geetanjali, I hope you take this feedback seriously. I am not saying customers are always right, but good customer service requires listening, understanding, and sometimes making small adjustments to ensure a positive experience. In my case, there was no need to go the extra mile—it was simply a matter of using a round brush on the ends of my hair for a minute or two after drying it. If I wanted my hair dried exactly the way I do it at home, there was no reason to spend ₹800 at a salon. Unfortunately, this visit fell far below the standards I have come to expect from Geetanjali. The Priya, Vasant Vihar branch clearly needs better staff training, particularly in customer service. In a service industry, repeatedly saying “no” without even attempting to help is not how you create a good customer experience. Sadly, after this experience, I will not be visiting this branch again.

Absolutely loved it. I went for my Bengali bridal service for my wedding and Shivani and team was fabulous. I was nervous because Bengalis wear KOLKA (design over eyebrows with white kumkum) n it came out absolutely enchanting. My overall get up absolutely the way I wanted. I had an amazing experience with MUA Shivani and her team at Geetanjali, Vasant Vihar. They did a phenomenal job with my makeup and hairstyling, and what impressed me the most was how efficiently they worked. I was on a very tight schedule before going on stage, and they got me completely ready in record time without compromising on the quality of the look. The makeup lasted for over 13 hours with barely any touch-ups, despite the humidity, stage lights, and hours of dancing. It stayed fresh, comfortable, and photographed beautifully throughout the event. A huge thank you to Shivani and her team for their professionalism, skill, and calmness under pressure. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for long-lasting, flawless event makeup!

Worst experience ever! The specialist didn't know how to wax. My entire leg was red with inflammation post waxing and when I highlighted this to the manager they took a stand that this is normal. You have sensitive skin. Like I am a newbie and don't know how my skin reacts! They charged the full amount for this horrible service and weren't apologetic at all!
