**Review Summary:** I do not recommend Sukoon Living Boys Hostel, especially for those coming from different states to study or work. I've been here for more than 3 years and the experience has been disappointing. Initially, the rent was ₹8500 per person, but it has increased to ₹9500 and will reach ₹10k by August, with minimal improvements. **Issues:** 1. Better options are available for ₹10k with more facilities like security, AC, and TV. 2. Cleaning services are poor; plates often have dried food stains. 3. The hostel's maintenance is lacking, with fragile furniture. 4. Frequent summer power cuts and no generator backup. 5. The neighborhood is unfriendly and often calls the cops over minor noise. 6. No security; the warden is ineffective against intrusive neighbors and hired "cops." 7. Promised AC service was denied despite initial agreement. **Major Issue:** The owners are unreliable. During a recent water outage lasting over 6 hours, they offered no help, and we had to arrange drinking water ourselves. The owners make false promises and show a dismissive attitude once they get your money. Their responses to complaints are dismissive and unhelpful. **Conclusion:** Avoid this hostel. Better options are available in Indore for the same or lower cost. Don't trust positive reviews claiming good living conditions or security—they are misleading. The only thing positive about this hostel which kept me here, despite of all the Not-so-ignorable flaws, are the fellow hostel mates (who are going to leave this hostel soon) So now there is literally no reason for anyone to stay and waste money on this hostel.

If you’re thinking of staying at Sukoon Living Boys Hostel, DON’T unless you enjoy overpriced misery. This place is an absolute disaster, and I wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy. Water Crisis 24/7 Forget about showering, washing clothes, or even using the toilet in peace. Water is available for less than 8 hours a day, and there’s no guarantee when it will come or if it will even have decent pressure. The real struggle isn’t reaching the hostel; it’s wondering if you’ll be able to flush the toilet once you’re here. Many times, I’ve had to go to my friend’s apartment just to use the bathroom. Owner & Warden: Money First, Humanity Last The owner, Anshul, and his wife (co-owner) are completely money-minded. If you message in the group about problems like water, food, or cleaning, they won’t even bother replying. But if you’re even a day late on rent? Expect back-to-back calls from them. The warden? Useless. He doesn’t care about anyone’s problems and barely lifts a finger to help. Food So Bad, You’d Rather Stay Hungry The food here is barely edible. Sukhi roti, watered-down dal, and tasteless vegetables make up most meals. Sometimes, the food is so bad that people skip meals entirely. The plates and utensils? Still dirty from previous use. You might find oil stains, leftover food bits, and who knows what else on them. Cleaning? What’s That? The rooms and corridor are never cleaned properly. The floors stay dusty, the washrooms stink, and if you complain? Nothing changes. Trash bins are often overflowing, and basic hygiene is ignored. The Only Good Thing? The People The only reason some people survive here is because of the other hostel mates. The friendships you make here might be the only thing that keeps you sane in this hellhole. If you value your money, hygiene, mental peace, and basic human dignity, AVOID this place at all costs. There are far better options, and this one isn’t worth even half the rent they charge.
