Got my Father treated for his hernia by Dr. Amitabh Goel. Doctor goel is the nicest doctor I have ever seen, his staff is also very polite and helpful. My father was operated well, he has returned to his normal routine just after a day of the surgery ( we opted for laproscopic surgwry). Overall very good experience.

Never fall in trap of Dr Goel. My grand ma was recommended for piles surgery by him. We consulted him couple of times at his clinic. When asking of estimation , he or his assistance never provided surgery cost or surgeon cost. Just giving simple answer "ho jayega kam me hi". He recommended to admit in Vishesh jupiter. This was scheduled surgery . His staff at clinic is suppose to provide approximate surgery cost. When we admitted and then got surprised . Surgeon charges for piles is INR 1 lac + hospital charges. No matter how much expert is the surgeon, how much their fee, you are suppose to give estimation in well advance . Specially when your surgery fee is 5x then others.. You skill may have your own price tag but dont keep patient in dark . He disclosed his surgery fee just 30 minutes before surgery. This is very unfair practice. There are lots of good surgeon in Indore. never fall in trap of this surgeon who charge INR 1 lac for 5 minutes surgery.
