Indore Marriott Hotel

Went there for a nice family dinner. Valet was proactive. Sttaff was not present at the frontdesk of Restaurant. Once seated, service was prompt. Food arrived at okayish pace, neither too late nor too early. The staff did not ask us for spice level and hence, they kept going from wildly spicy soup to super bland curries. Although food was prepared fresh, the freshness of ingredients was still questionable. Mushroom, coconut milk, etc. tasted dated. One good thing was that any feedbacks given were actioned upon promptly. Price wise it will come to about 1200-1500 per person which I feel is fair given the brand name. Overall a good experience but it doesn't leave you longing for a second visit. Service: 4 Location: 5

Overall, I had a good experience at the hotel. The rooms were comfortable, the staff was helpful, and the overall atmosphere was pleasant. The location was also convenient. There is still some scope for improvement in terms of service and overall maintenance. With a little more attention to these areas, the experience could be even better. Had a wonderful stay at Marriott Indore. The hotel has a beautiful, elegant ambience with spacious and well-maintained rooms. The staff were courteous, professional, and welcoming throughout the stay. The food was delicious, with a good variety of options, and the overall dining experience was excellent. The hotel is also conveniently located, making it easy to explore Indore. Everything was well organised and comfortable, from check-in to check-out. I had a very disappointing experience at this hotel. In the name of accommodating a VIP guest, the hotel staff caused unnecessary inconvenience to other paying guests. Every guest deserves equal respect, comfort, and proper hospitality, regardless of their status. What made the experience even worse was the attitude of the manager and staff, which was neither pleasant nor welcoming towards the other guests. Instead of handling the situation professionally and addressing concerns politely, their behaviour made the overall experience even more unpleasant. A hotel’s responsibility is to ensure a comfortable and respectful environment for all its guests, not to compromise the comfort of others because a VIP is staying there. Paying guests should not feel ignored, inconvenienced, or treated as less important. Overall, the experience was disappointing and fell far below the hospitality standards one would expect from a hotel. I sincerely hope the management takes this feedback seriously and trains its staff to treat every guest with equal courtesy, professionalism, and respect. Recently visited indore and stayed at mariott for 2 days . The entire experience was excellent. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, the food was delicious, and the service exceeded my expectations. The staff were incredibly courteous, professional, and always willing to help. I would especially like to mention Shreyosi and Sakshi, who were exceptionally polite, attentive, and always ready to assist with a smile. Their warm hospitality truly made our stay even more enjoyable.I would also like to appreciate the gentleman from the in-room dining team who delivered our meals. Thank you to the entire team for making our visit so comfortable. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Indore and look forward to staying here again. Really disappointing experience at the Marriott today. We were there for a car event and had taken prior notice/permission from the person handling the event regarding our presence and shoot. When the hotel staff informed us that shooting was not permitted, we completely understood and acknowledged it. What was frustrating was that we never actually started recording. We were simply standing quietly in a corner, trying to figure things out regarding the event and our shoot. Despite this, we were approached and questioned by around five different members of staff, repeatedly being asked why we were there and what we were doing. The way we were repeatedly approached made us feel as though we were trespassing, creating a nuisance, or simply weren’t allowed to be there in the first place. We were not causing any disturbance, blocking anyone, or ignoring the hotel’s instructions. Once we were told not to shoot, we respected that. We completely understand that a hotel has security procedures and policies regarding photography and filming, and there is absolutely nothing wrong with staff enforcing them. However, there is a respectful and professional way to do so. Repeatedly questioning guests who are quietly standing in a corner, especially after they have already acknowledged the instructions, felt excessive and unnecessarily uncomfortable. For a hotel of Marriott’s reputation, I expected much better hospitality and professionalism. The way this situation was handled left a very poor impression
