Very testy poha served, which has become a favorite breakfast of not only Indore but Malwa. We tested khaman too, which was also good. Adrakwali chai was just pergect in winter... Meal type Breakfast Price per person ₹1–200 Food: 5 Service: 5
This the original poha place in Indore. Founded by 2 cousins in the late 1940. This place is a small yet full of pace breakfast spot for Indore. Ussal Poha was the best among all the different Poha I have tried in Indore. They also have delicious aloo (potato) and dal(lentils) kachoris. The chai is great too. You must visit this place when you are around Rajwada and Sarafa side. The owners claim they started the poha trend in Indore. Order type Dine in Meal type Breakfast Price per person ₹1–200

Excellent Usal Poha. The Poha was light, fluffy with a tinge of sweet. The spicy Usal was perfect for a winter morning The combination of poha, usal, onion, namkeen and Jeeravan was near perfect. Good chai and a welcoming host too ☺️ The aloo Kachori was fine too Order type Dine in Meal type Breakfast Price per person ₹1–200 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Vegetarian options Poha Kachori Usal Chai
Purushottam Ji Joshi first set up his shop in the Krishnapura area before shifting to present location near Rajwada in 1949. Being a Maharashtrian, he introduced Usal to the Malwa poha and Usal Poha was born. The dish is spicy and served with onions and lemon. You can always wash it down with cutting chai.
