I recently visited Chappan Dukan in Indore, and it was such a fun experience! If you’re a food lover, this place is a must visit. There are so many different types of street foods to try, but choose wisely because you’ll be spoiled for choice. One small tip most stalls don’t provide tissues or water to clean your hands, so it’s a good idea to carry your own. My personal favourites were the chai at Chai Sutta Bar (seriously, it’s that good!), the hot dog, and the mixed fruit roll ice cream. And before you leave, don’t miss the paan. We tried both the Fire Paan and Nitrogen Paan, and they were absolutely worth it. No wonder they’re so popular with visitors and celebrities alike!

The food street obtained it name from the number of Shops 56. The food street shops offers various snacks, cool drinks, ice creams, etc. A South Indian shop also offers Dosa. The cost of the items seems to be on the higher side. One of the appreciable thing is that, even-though the shops are open throughout the night, kept clean at the dawn of the next day.

Chappan Dukan is a food lover’s paradise and a "Clean Street Food Hub" in Indore. This pedestrian-only zone offers an incredible vibe and 56 legendary shops. Must-try items include the world-famous Johny Hot Dog, Vijay Chaat’s Khopra Patties, and refreshing Shikanji at Madhuram. Chhappan Dukan is a great place for snacks, chaat, and desserts. We tried kachori, ice cream, smoked mango rabdi, and sev puri. Everything was good, except the sev puri, which lacked flavor. Overall, the experience was very good. There is a nice seating area where you can comfortably sit and enjoy your food. We visited in the evening, and the atmosphere was pleasant and lively. We really enjoyed spending time there.

Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Been to Chhapan Dukan countless times, and was just there yesterday again! This place is my absolute favourite adda in Indore for an evening out with friends or family. The vibe is just something else, always buzzing with energy. Kal bhi bohot acha time spent hua. Okay, let's get to the food because that's the main reason we all go there, right? The highlight of my visit yesterday was DEFINITELY the Jamun Kulfi. Oh my god, you have to try it! It tastes exactly like real jamun, it's not just some artificial flavour. So, so good and refreshing. Ekdum mast! 😋 We also tried the Kunafa – had the blueberry and chocolate nuts one. It was so rich and creamy, bohot hi yum tha. A perfect dessert! Of course, a trip here is incomplete without the legends. The Jumbo Sandwich from Madhuram was amazing as always, and we also grabbed the famous Khopra Patties from Vijay Chaat House. These are a must-have, no questions asked. We also gave the 10-flavour pani puri a shot. It's a cool concept, but honestly, the taste was just average for me. Not bad, but not something I'd crave again compared to the other fantastic things available. Washed it all down with a refreshing soda. Honestly, if you're in Indore, you just cannot miss Chhapan Dukan. It's the perfect place to satisfy all your food cravings under one sky. Highly recommended for a guaranteed good time!

Chhappan Dukan is one of the most famous and happening places in Indore. It’s a large food hub with a huge variety of eateries offering almost every kind of food — local snacks, drinks, meals, sweets, and cuisines from outside the region. On one side, there are small stall-style shops, and on the opposite side, well-known branded food outlets. There’s a common seating area in the middle. The place usually opens in the afternoon and stays active till late night. It attracts a massive crowd, especially on weekends, as it’s a perfect spot for hanging out with friends or going out with family. The location is very easy to reach. We tried several dishes here and most of them were good — especially the soya chaap, which was excellent. However, in my opinion, the place is a bit overhyped. It’s mainly a big food hub. While it’s a nice place to spend time, there are some issues that need attention. Considering the large seating area and heavy crowd, the number of wash basins, dustbins, and toilets is quite limited. Although cleaning staff are present, people still litter around because dustbins are not easily available. Also, a few shops have very poor service and rude behaviour. Overall, it’s a good experience and a fun place to visit, but with better cleanliness facilities and service quality, it could be much better.

Chappan Street is undoubtedly one of the best food destinations in Indore. The food quality was excellent, and most of the dishes were freshly prepared with authentic flavors. The area was relatively wel maintained considering the heavy crowd, and there were plenty of options to satisfy every taste preference. The only minor suggestion would be regarding the price of the potato twister. While it was tasty and well prepared, it felt slightly overpriced for the quantity served. A small reduction in price or a slightly larger portion would offer better value for money and make the experience even more satisfying. Overall, Chappan Street is a must visit destination for anyone visiting Indore. The lively ambience, huge variety of delicious food, and unique street-food culture make it an unforgettable culinary experience. Highly recommended!!!

I had a few hours to spare in Indore during my journey, and since Chhappan Dukan was nearby, I decided to stop by for a meal. It turned out to be a great decision! I was really impressed by how clean, organized, and well maintained the entire area is. There are plenty of seating arrangements, making it easy to relax and enjoy your food. What I loved most was the variety—you’ll find multiple cuisines and countless food stalls, so there’s something for everyone. Whether you’re looking for authentic Indori snacks or a proper North Indian meal, Chhappan Dukan is definitely worth a visit. It’s a vibrant food street with a great atmosphere and is a must-visit if you’re in Indore.
