Finally found a spot in Indore that nails the "Benne" (butter) experience! 🧈 Benne Batter & Co isn't just another dosa place; the Ghee Podi Thatte Idli literally melts in your mouth, and the Benne Dosa has that authentic Bangalore crunch and buttery aroma that is hard to find here. We also tried the Medu Vada and Lemon Rice, which were fresh and spot-on in taste. Do not leave without trying their Filter Coffee—it is rich, soothing, and the perfect palette cleanser. The place is good.. I tried ghee podi benne dosa and idli there and it was too tasty.. the perfect taste of ghee with their different chutneys was amazing.. but I am little unsatisfied with the sambhar and idli as well it was not that much tasty.. and the vibe of the place was also very good.. Tried the newly opened Benne Batter & Co. and was pleasantly surprised! We ordered the Ghee Podium Benne Masala Dosa, Medu Vada, and Classic Masala Dosa — every dish was flavorful, crisp, and authentically South Indian. As someone from the South, I was genuinely happy to find that true, homely taste here in Indore. The ghee aroma, chutneys, and sambar were all spot on. A very authentic South Indian place to eat. Chutneys, Sambhar, Dosa Idli..all items are worth a try! Garlic roast dosa to mention specially. One thing of grave concern is they serve in Disposable plates and you need to carry food yourself and they do not serve on the table. We had a wonderful experience at this dosa place. The staff was extremely polite, courteous, and empathetic. Since we were visiting with our infant, they were especially thoughtful—regularly checking on us and ensuring we were comfortable. What really stood out was how quickly they served the food so our baby wouldn’t wake up, allowing us to enjoy our meal peacefully. That level of care truly made a difference. Coming to the food—absolutely delicious! The dosas were perfectly made, as we wanted - crisp and perfectly cooked. The chutney and sambhar were rich and flavourful. I'll just say awesome food. I've been to many south indian restaurants in indore and at South India side as well but this taste is just amazing. I've ordered their speciality Ghee Posi Benne Dosa and Thatte Idli with awesome taste. I'll highly recommend this place for south indian food.
