Amazing place for foodies like me.. it is one of Indore's best known street food locations with the name signifying the total number of shops that the complex has.. the name 56 dukaan in Hindi means 56 shops which is exactly the number of different food shops that the place has. The shops in the street serve all kind of food including sweets, hot dogs, Indian food, Chinese food, Continental food, and some amazing shops for indore namkeens as well. If you are visiting Indore, this is a must go place for the foodie in you. The street is extremely clean with most of the vendors serving food in non disposable steel utensils so that they can be rewashed and don't increase the garbage generation. The street allows cars through the street during the day hours while during the night hours it becomes pedestrian and two wheelers only. The sweet shops and momos are a must try

Best place for food lovers. I had been here recently. Great taste and nicely prepared Jalebi, Kachori and dahi Wada. Neat and tidy shops. Very clean ambience. Plenty of options available even for kids. Bergers and Sandwiches apart from typical indorean stuff

Not just a place but a place justified it's name u may found more than 56 shops for your cravings for anything. From a starter to Dessert, everything is here. But if you want only desi taste then you must visit Sarafa

The variety of shops are awesome. However, during pick time the quality is worst. Not at all satisfactory. More Sophia crowd is found here as compared to Sarafa. It's better to come here during non pick time.

Huge variety of food is available along with some other stores in the vicinity. The place is usually very crowded due it's popularity and the great food served at each of the shops here. It has adequate parking and at weekends due to huge emergence of crowd, the polimen deny the entry of four wheelers to the place but Two wheelers are allowed. The place is in the vicinity to some of the best markets of indore and hence some people visit it on a regular basis. The food is amazing and the ambience of the place is good.
