This is THE KING EDWARD MEDICAL SCHOOL! It’s NOT THE WHITE CHURCH King Edward Medical School, established in 1848, was the oldest institution of its kind in Central India. It served as a centre for medical education for many years. Shortly after it became a charitable hospital in 1878. In 1947, it was converted into a medical college, and subsequently, in 1948, MGM Medical College was formally established. Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Medical College,Indore. It is the 15th oldest medical college in the country. But Now here is only building. The college is maybe shifted to other place. Its looks like a church but its a college. Its very beautiful and eye catchy..

This glorious old building is a classic example of French Gothic style architecture and stands tall in the new medical college campus. Built in 1878, this old medical college, earlier known as King Edward Hospital Medical School, would be made a literary centre as per the government planning. They're saying that this would the city’s second literary centre after Manas Bhawan. I am looking forward to hearing more about this opportunity because I want to take a look at inner beauty of this building. Since this is a government planning, so I am not sure about how much longer I have to wait.

This is old medical college building but people mistakenly understand this is white Church of Indore which is different. I think govt should renovat this structure and make it as Museum of medical history of Indore. There should be photos of great doctors of this city n what is their contribution. When the new medical equipments came in indore. This ll be a inspiration for the upcoming medical students and future's doctor.
