Dr. Pradeep Pokharna is an amazing, experienced, kind, honest and respectful Heart Surgeon and he is easy to talk to. My father had many heart blockages and he underwent heart bypass surgery in KDAH, and Dr. Pradeep did a very great and precise MICS Surgery. This procedure like traditional open heart surgery doesn't need to cut a sternum or ribs to perform surgery, but is done by making a incision between the ribs to perform surgery. The benefit of this type of surgery is the patient is able to walk, talk and live life normally and freely after 3-4 days of surgery. But in traditional open heart surgery, the bones need to be cut and the patients have to spend atleast 1.5 to 2 months on bed, need chest bands and take other precautions to prevent bones damage. So, all in all Dr. Pradeep Pokharna is a very brilliant, knowledgeable and great surgeon. We are very greatful to him, because he saved my father's life.

Thank you for your response to the review by Vikas Ratnawat. However, the reply does not address the most critical clinical concerns in his father’s case. I request a clear and specific explanation on the following points: 1) Why was the pre-existing UTI infection not adequately treated or stabilized before proceeding with surgery, despite documented evidence in pre- and post-surgery reports (attached)? 2) What were the exact clinical reasons that led to the Code Blue situation requiring CPR, 10 days after surgery, while the patient was under continuous monitoring and treatment under you and your team? Simply stating that “best possible care was given” is not sufficient in the presence of these serious complications. These concerns require transparent, medically detailed clarification. This are serious clinical concerns and require transparent clarifications.
