Lazeez Affaire is the newest entrant in the huge list of restaurants in Indore. With only a few weeks in business, it's attracting large number of guests. I went there on a friend's suggestion and here's my review. The first thing that gets your attention is the openness of the place. The restaurant spreads on a single floor with big tables to cater large groups. It has a shiny interior with mirror like tiles covering the ceiling. A fully functional bar table to cater alcohol lovers. The day I had visited, there was a live performance going on. The singer did his best but the crowd was too noisy. It was very difficult to hear the man sing. Because of this I felt that the acoustics of the place needed some attention. Coming to food, the place has limited options for vegetarians. I had ordered mushroom galouti kebabs, dal fry and khasta chilli paratha. The khasta chilli paratha tasted like chilli naan and was a let down. I expected much better than that. The rest of the things were fine. Overall my experience was average. I may not go to Lazeez Affaire again but I guess non-vegetarians like the place. Enjoy! The food overall was good, but the service was terrible. One of our dishes was excessively salty, but when we asked to return it, the staff refused and insisted it met their standards. To make matters worse, the floor staff and the cook all ganged up at our table to deny our claim.
