Chatterjee Music & Dance Academy (Sapna Sangeeta Road)

I am learning octapad at Chatterjee Music Academy for six months now. When I started, I was a total beginner and knew nothing. But today, I can play many songs easily! The learning environment here is very lively and happy. A big reason for this is Chatterjee Sir. He always motivate us and help at every stage. Whenever I find a rhythm difficult, he helps me kindly. I have learned a lot of things about music and beats along with staff notation in these six months. I am very happy with my progress from zero to playing songs. Chatterjee Sir always encourages me, which makes me want to practice more.

I had a very good experience learning guitar at Chatterjee Music Academy. Sir and Ma'am teach in a very simple and easy way. They start from the basics, so even if you have never played a guitar before, you can learn without any problem. They also teach music theory, not just songs. They explain notes, chords, scales, rhythm, and other basic concepts in an easy way, which helps build a strong foundation. As you improve, they slowly teach more advanced techniques. They make sure you understand each topic before moving to the next one. Sir and Ma'am are very patient, supportive, and always ready to help. I would highly recommend Chatterjee Music Academy to anyone who wants to learn guitar from the beginning and improve step by step. I will continue learning here. Naman

It has been 3 months and it is amazing here. Such a cute and fun diverse class I am part of. Learning from very experienced & knowledgeable professional musician is a blessing. Other than lectures, I also like how I get every theory lesson with a same-day practical application. I really enjoy it here. Every body is full of energy, especially the small ones. The nature of the chatterjee sir here is very considerate about us.

I began my musical journey in the year 2000 at Chatterjee Music Academy, and today when I look back, it feels like a beautiful chapter of life that still lives inside me. I started with the synthesiser, and within six months, I was gently guided towards the guitar — a moment that unknowingly changed my life forever. Every note, every chord I learned had a story behind it, and all of it was shaped under the guidance of my mentor, Pradeep Sir. Pradeep Sir was never just a teacher… he was someone who understood not only music, but also emotions. He didn’t just teach how to play — he taught how to feel every note. There were times when I doubted myself, when things didn’t make sense, but his calm guidance and silent belief gave me strength. Even today, somewhere in my playing, his teachings still breathe. Even now, when I pick up my guitar, it’s not just music… it’s memories speaking. Every chord carries a piece of those days, every tune brings back a feeling I can never explain in words. If someone truly wants to learn music — not just as a skill, but as a feeling, as a part of life — I will always recommend Chatterjee Music Academy. Because it’s not just a place where you learn music… it’s a place where a part of your soul stays forever.

Chaterjee music academy is a wonderful place to learn and grow as a musician. The in depth knowledge given to us enhances our understanding and improves us with every note. Sir & ma'am are kind and patient, and they have made learning music as an enjoyable experience rather than stressful. They also provide instruments to those who don't have one , ensuring that learning never stops. I highly recommend this to everyone.

As a father, watching my daughter thrive in guitar class has been one of the most rewarding experiences for her. She started just three months ago as a complete beginner, nervous about even holding the guitar properly, but under the patient and expert guidance of Pradeep sir and Urvashi ma’am , she's now confidently playing complex chords, and playing full songs leads. Class has an encouraging environment, and sir gives personal attention to every single child learning. What sets this class apart is how it builds not just skills, but confidence and passion. My daughter practices daily now. There is no time restrictions here. If you're looking for a place where your child can truly excel in guitar while having fun, this is it—we couldn't recommend it more highly!

My journey of learning guitar here has been amazing and thrilling from the first day. Never knew that I would be able to learn so much in such a short period while learning at this academy. Everyone there is super supportive and encouraging. Attending this academy made me realise not to be afraid to make mistakes and that we should embrace them and then make improvements. Very grateful for the experience. Thank you.

I joined Chatterjee Music Academy 2 months ago and my experience has been wonderful. As someone who takes time to understand things and has a lot of doubts, Chatterjee sir & Urvashi ma'am made me clear all of them. They listen patiently , are very sweet and understanding. Another thing that struck to me was how they encouraged me to fix my instrument ( guitar) related problems myself and even helped me with it. If you are someone who is wanting to learn music deeply and understand any instrument this is your sign to learn from Pradeep sir & ma'am.

Really enjoyed my learning experience here. As a complete beginner, I was pleasantly surprised that I started playing songs within the very first month. What stands out the most is the teaching approach. Instead of jumping straight into songs, Chatterjee Sir and Ma'am have structured the learning in a way that builds a strong foundation, starting with scales, then alankars, followed by leads and chords, giving students an overall perspective of music and guitar playing. They are both extremely supportive, patient, and cordial, making every class enjoyable and encouraging. I look forward to learning and improving with every session.
