Govt. Veterinary Hospital

As google map shows the hospital is open from 5 PM to 6 PM but when I had reached there was a banner which says closed at 5 PM. Basically, I am trying to say that they should be updated as most of the people are searching using google maps and take a decision. As you are the Hospital for Animals, you should take care of the things because Animals are equally important as Human Beings. Be updated!!!

Its okay if you want to see a budget friendly hospital. But there is no availability of medicine,vaccines,etc you have to buy yourself. But the staff was nice.

Great and Patient Doctors. The unexpected part is they’ll give you full attention and solve your queries whatsoever. One tip if you’re hesitant towards going to a government hospital because of hygiene is carry a small piece of cloth with yourself to avoid unwanted attraction of any virus/bacteria. Fee is ₹20. Sonography fee is ₹100. They’ll write you medicines and you have to go to a nearby medical store to buy it. Timings on normal day: 9 am to 4 pm (1-2 lunch) Sonography Timing: 10 am Timings on public holiday: 9 am to 10/11 am

It is the only government hospital that I could find. I have a pet rabbit and wanted to have it checked. The hospital does not seem to be well maintained. It was littered and dirty at places. The doctors didn't explain about the treatment but he seemed knowledgeable. My pet is all right after the treatment. It is the only government facility of its type in the area, so you can either check it out if it suits you otherwise go for a private veterinarian.

Location - The hospital is under the bridge. You have to take a U-TURN on left on Jail side and go under the bridge to reach the Government Veterinary hospital. Facilities - The have all the basic necessities as well as will provide you with a slip to get Medicine from a nearby druggist. They even have a pet Parlour (Although I would recommend not to have any high hopes for your pet's after Parlour looks). Cost - It is really inexpensive, like you can get your pet checked for ₹20. Also doctors are dedicated and kind.

Free treatment for any wild animals dog cat .sometime medicines are not available here so needed to buy.doctors come very late almost 1to2 hours

We were there because of Dr Shweta Mishra. She did a great job at my dog’s minor surgery. She handle pets with extreme patience. Grateful for her warmth! Staff there need to work on their customer dealing skills. Lots of scope of improvement in cleanliness as well.

Water is not available here for drinking.... 😔 …

I bring my dog here to be seen, but when there is a major problem, when there is some big problem, then only a private doctor has to be seen. These people do not even touch the animal, so how do they treat it and there are some problems regarding medicine too. And once my dog had a problem, so I brought it here, but unfortunately the doctors could not detect the disease, then I took it to a private doctor and got some proper treatment.
