I'm no expert on south Indian cuisine but the Dosa they served was cold, soggy and the potatoes were bland. There are many better south Indian options available in town, probably my last place to goo. It's a shame for a south Indian restaurant to get the basic ' dosa ' wrong. Banana Leaf, Indore situated on second floor of Malhar Mega Mall is a upper class authentic south Indian restaurant. The best thing about them are the variety and options of food items in their menu. Its a must try if you like south Indian food. Rates are also pocket friendly. But authentic south Indian food is not a cup of tee for all.
We had mysore masala dosa, banana leaf special banana lassi and appam as well, so can say taste wise it was as good as any other branded authentic south indian restaurant but ya quantity was more than expected, so overall good experience! Overrated food. I ordered special thai here that costs Rs. 450 and what I got is 1 small katori sambhar, 2 chapati, 1 katori paneer with beans, 1 katori gravy with beans and 1 more thing with beans. 1 sweet.
