It's a pure veg authentic south indian restaurant. Recommended for families, couple, kids all age group. Ambience:- decent neither too loud just perfect for that food you want to eat. ‍Staff :- well behaved, willing to help from managers to server. No shabby clothes or spot/stains on server boys dress!! Food :-This is interesting part as they serve food on banana leaf placed on top of your plate giving you feel of true south indian anna like style. In dosa liked the CHETTINADU SPICY MASALA, panner burji (only if you are big paneer lover). Tried CHETTINAD BIRYANI (recommended for jain food too) and this turn out to be awesome took almost 20-25 mins of preparation but was upto the mark in terms of spices, taste Payment modes all credit card even amex too is accepted although didn't saw any option of mobile wallet. The place is situated in one of the modi crowded mall of Indore. Inspite of being in the mall area they run there places very smoothly. They have a very beautiful south indian ambiance. The place is calming because of that. They have a wide variety of menu and all the options are tempting. They really serve very good food over here. If you love biryani, you should definitely try here. They really serve very good biryani. From my side you should definitely visit this place and this place is not hard on pockets also.

My experience with Banana leaf wasn't good at all it may sound harsh but it's true. It's a good restaurant in terms of verity in south Indian food you will be able to eat those south Indian dishes which you never heard before but wait, it doesn't mean they taste good or this place create an amazing dining experience I think they serve average quality food with a mindset of luxury the items are overpriced with respect to the quality and taste. The staff and service in the worst part staff forgot the order sometimes, you have to repeat your items 2-3 times then only they will bring it to your plate, the expression on the staff members face is like they don't want you to eat and if you are asking to refill your plate they serve you with a look that they have to pay money for it. The taste of food is average, many people say it's authentic south Indian food but, I doubt. I like that they serve you on an actual banana leaf. The overall ambience is good the location of the place is perfect. You can go here with your friends and family especially kids. In the end, if you want to just try different new types of south Indian dishes you can go here otherwise I would not recommend this place.

We were regulars to this restaurant and as usual we went to enjoy our favourite dishes … but we were deeply disappointed … first they served us podi masala dosa instead of benne masala dosa and were not ready to accept that they have made a mistake initially . The food was devoid of any flavours or taste falling far below the quality standards . The service was even worse and subpar . Despite repeated attempts to call the server went unattended . We have never seen such kind of service at Banana leaf and we would suggest that kindly do not expect great south Indian food or service from this place again !! I had a really disappointing experience at Banana Leaf restaurant yesterday. The service was honestly frustrating — the waiter behaved as if he was doing me a favor just by taking my order, which made the whole experience uncomfortable. To make things worse, the food was not served hot. I politely asked them twice to heat it properly, but instead of fixing the issue, they started arguing. That kind of response is completely unacceptable in a place that’s supposed to provide hospitality. Overall, poor service, lack of basic courtesy, and no effort to resolve customer concerns. 13 Oct 2024: dinner with parents. The food was average overall. Tried Masala dosa, uttapam and idli sambhar. The chutneys and sambhar was towards bland. That nice aroma and richness of flavors was lacking. Moreover, food was too spicy generally. The best thing was the rasam, it was too hot but flavorful. The staff seemed uninterested and tired. The place seems beautiful though, but everything else is ordinary. Typical prices, Rs 770 for 3 people. I do not recommend this place.
