Hotel Samrat

Good food but room not maintained Trip type Vacation Rooms: 1 Service: 1 Location: 5

Extremely disappointed with my experience at Hotel Samrat, Indore. The owner’s behavior was very rude and unprofessional, and the staff service was equally poor. Even the food we ordered was below average. They claim it’s a “family restaurant,” but people around were openly drinking alcohol and creating a nuisance, making it very uncomfortable for families. I had organized a program there, and the entire event was completely ruined because of their mismanagement. Would definitely not recommend this place to anyone looking for a decent and family-friendly environment. Travel group Friends Rooms: 1 Service: 1 Location: 1

Worst Hotel Experience ever... I recently had the misfortune of staying at Hotel Samrat in Indore, and it was hands-down the worst hotel experience of my life. From the moment I arrived, everything seemed to go wrong. Dirty Room The room was a nightmare. The bed was unmade, with stained sheets and a lingering smell of sweat. The bathroom was filthy, with hair and soap scum in the shower and broken tiles. I didn't even want to touch the toilet. Poor Service The staff seemed completely uninterested in helping me. There were no toiletries (toothpaste) When I complained about the room, they shrugged it off and told me it was "all they had available." When I asked for extra towels, it took them over an hour to bring them. Management The hotel manager is very arrogant and rude and only left to make matters worse. Overpriced and Under delivering Considering the horrible experience, I felt ripped off by the exorbitant price. The hotel promised luxury when checked online, but delivered nothing but disappointment and frustration. Conclusion Overall, my stay at Hotel Samrat was a disaster. I would not recommend this hotel to my worst enemy. If you value your sanity and your wallet, stay far, far away from this dump. Your well wisher. The location of this hotel is central, making it convenient to access most places in Indore city. The service provided by the staff was commendable; they were courteous and helpful throughout our stay. However, the hotel itself isn't particularly fancy. The rooms are just okay, and the bathrooms are small and not very well-maintained. While it’s a decent place for a short stay, don’t expect luxury. Maybe this hotel is the oldest & in the center of the city, but the service is completely useless. It is not clean at all. We asked room service many times to clean the room & washroom. After calling 5 times, someone finally came to clean it. We ordered dinner, & even the dinner was completely cold. When we called room service to complain, the staff started shouting at us, saying the food is supposed to be like that or it will get cold while coming from the kitchen to the room. During our 2-day stay, no room service was provided. However, the staff was polite and helpful. The restaurant had more non-vegetarian food options compared to vegetarian choices. Rooms: 4 Service: 1 Location: 4
