Beds and sheets were neat and clean, however, the bathroom needs upgradation and so do the facilities. The walls are thin and you can hear people in the room next to yours, plus guests were very noisy shouting in the corridors. The support staff was very helpful but the reception staff needs to be more welcoming. Breakfast was not so good, with minimal choice and there are no tables in the dining hall (you are supposed to put your plate on your lap and eat). Tea was cold and not of good quality .... Rs.42/- per cup of Tea is unreasonable. Common restroom was not properly maintained with no proper flow of water. There was no proper work desk and chair. Staff is good but needs to be supervised constantly to clean the dusty rooms. They cleaned the washroom only once in our 3 nights stay. Still that's not the reason for poor ratings as the staff will attend to whatever you ask for. Giving poor ratings because there was no lift and constant powercuts sometimes more than an hour at a stretch!! Hotel is still undergoing repairs and it's not fit for elderly people as there is no lift nor rooms on the ground floor. Really disappointed as the booking mentioned facilities to the contrary which is misleading. My old parents had a tough time climbing up and down the stairs. I recently stayed at Hotel Santoor in Indore with my family, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience! From the moment we arrived, the manager greeted us with such warmth and hospitality, making us feel right at home. He went out of his way to fulfill all our requests, ensuring every aspect of our stay was perfect. The hotel is truly the best budget-friendly option in Indore. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. My entire family enjoyed the stay thoroughly. The highlight was the breakfast—it was a delightful Indori-style feast that we all loved! It was the perfect way to immerse ourselves in the local culture and start our day. If you're traveling with family and looking for a place that combines excellent service, great food, and affordability, Hotel Santoor is the ideal choice. Highly recommended! Check in and check out experience was unethical and unprofessional. Hotel location is good but u can always hear road sound inside rooms. All 3 person at reception counter are careless unprofessional who just don't care about guest and busy in ordering timely tea for themselves. One person takes room booking at reception in evening for next day and confirms and next person denies that booking next day by calling you to check out and ready to shift you out to another hotel. Not a pleasant stay experience. Just an average hotel without ethics. No toiletries available as well. Water cooler on 2nd floor broken. Pros: The room was very clean, cozy and comfortable. Present in good location with accessibility. Cons: 1) Major flaw was the only 1 L water provided for two guests in summer heat for whole day. Rs 30/L charged for additional water. Not bisleri water, just a own brand of bottled water from their restuarant.. 2) Consider revising late check-out charges. Room was not as expected, ac water was leaking inside room and flooded in room. Size was too small for 3 person. Extra bedding was smelling . House keeping staff came after 2 pm for cleaning. Balcony was too dirty and too much dust was there. Only 3 shampoo pouch 1rs. each and 3 tiny size soap was provide as toiletries. no brush / toothpaste was there. The rooms were not clean. Everywhere dust. The balcony was too dirty. Food was ok and not hygienic. Not that many options. Room service was not that quick. You need to remind multiple times. The staff was very helpful and cooperative and gave very good service. They helped us in all the way they could. Location of the hotel is also very nice. But rooms need some improvements. The room in which i stayed had broken bathroom window glass, there waa no exhaust fan and light above the mirror waa falling down. Hotel should maintain the rooms properly.
