The location of the hotel is very convenient to the main market but the reception staff if pathetic. They have not even basic courtesy to welcome their guest. They have offered us the worst room they have only because we have book their hotel online and not from their own platform. The experience was even worst when we confront them, they even deny basic drinking water to us. I really want to let the higher management of the hotel to please review the behaviour of the receptionist someone Mr. Mahendra R. Location is great. You can walk to chappan dukan. Rooms are big and service is very good. You have restaurant option available for order. Had a comfortable stay.

Horrible hotel. Still under construction, hotel is dirty. They don't have a reception and very bad service

There is difference in the rates when we speak on phone and when we actually reach the hotel. The receptionist is extremely rude. When we point out that the rate given on phone is much lower than the actual being charged, he says take it or leave it. Unfortunately we were traveling in a big group and had offloaded all the luggage so couldn't go searching another hotel. Complimentary breakfast the tea and coffee was being served in paper glasses. When we asked for proper cups the staff said that regular cups are out of stock as they were being used to serve guests in the rooms. How can a hotel run out of cups?? Stayed at Kanchan Tilak Hotel for 1 night after getting a good deal on MMT. Overall, the stay was good and the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel seems to be in an older building, and some renovation work appears to be going on. The location is a major advantage — it is just a 2-minute walk from Chappan Street, and rickshaws are easily available nearby. The rooms were neat, clean, and well maintained. However, there were some signs of the building’s age, such as cracked walls and a few pieces of old/broken furniture. The bathroom fittings, especially the faucets, also looked dated, which gives the impression that the property is being gradually renovated.
