OYO Hotel Chanakya

I had a booking of 1 day from 15th December to 16th December. When I reached hotel in the morning, 3-4 stray dogs were roaming the lobby area. The washrooms in the so called banquet hall was very filthy. The room was infested with cockroaches. The taps in the bathroom were leaking. Not a good experience. The room I got first was pathetic. The lighting in the room was so poor. There was a bad smell with lot of nymphs (cockroach babies). I got the room changed citing that the TV was not working and the cockroaches. The second room was a similar room except for a working TV and absent cockroaches. Totally a less than average experience, can adjust if you are alone. Not at all suitable for a couple/family. P.S: Review solely based on my room experience. I have been for 11 days in hotel, Room was ok, room service was not bad only I have complain they didn't provide soap and towel when you ask they will serve. Unlimited delicious breakfast but milk has too much water you can see dudh ka dudh aur pani ka pani. Food is awesome. But if I visit again indore definitely I will choose hotel chanakya. Need to understand while booking the hotel, don't go on the pictures of the rooms that are shown in the OYO app. If you visit the kitchen by mistaken (in-house resturant) and seen it with your naked eyes, you wont eat the food, even the restaurants down the hotel are so unhygienic and unclean that you will puke. On the second day of my stay, I puked because the food is just worst. Bathroom's toilet seat was broken. No wifi despite providing the internet. If you're using the Lift of the hotel, use it at your own risk, it's too risky and I mean it. The only good thing about the hotel is the service which is average. The hotel was really pathetic. There was so much Dirt on the furniture. Some of them was broken also. It felt like that we are living in some horror house with an AC. The door lock was not working,Taps were not working properly.Shower also damaged. Bedsheets were dirty , we got them changed later on. AC was full of dust. I've attached photos. You can't see dirt on the furniture in photos because of their color but believe me there was literally too much Dirt and dust everywhere.. Bohut hai ghatiya hotel he or hotel ka staff to bohut bekar hai wo log very rudy baaat krte he . Very bad experience - Hotel is big but not upto the mark. 1)Staff behavior not good 2)Rooms are not clean properly. 3)Rooms furniture are damaged. 4)Walls are not good 5)Color got fade. 6)Washrooms Cleaning Ness zero. 7)No water supply 8)Mostly the receptionist boy behavior very bad. Don't even dare to book this hotel. Really worst service. No hygiene maintained. Washrooms were not cleaned at all. Even hotel manager attitude is like he don't even care about you. All he cares about is the money.. Not a single room is clean. Just don't book it you'll end up regretting your decision. What you see in pictures vs what actual the room is 100% opposite. Worst experience. Rooms are very dirty. Cockroaches were roaming in the room. Bedsheets dirty, quilt or blanket not provided. Whole room is full of dust. Washrooms had so many stains. Commode was very dirty. Do not recommend to stay and remove this hotel from your list. Located at busy corner in market area. No private parking provided by hotel. Vehicle owners have to park their vehicle on open public places with scenario of parking at own risk. Good for single or group of a few people. Rooms were not that much appreciable. Cockroaches and spiders were available to live there with you. Door locks were broken and manually maintained.
