OYO Hotel Chanakya

Never book this hotel, they are the worst. Especially girls, do not book a room here. The area is shady. Hotel is shady. They book your hotel at different charges and then charge you extra at the time of checkout. And denies to give receipts. Also it isn't worth rs. 1000 per day, that they ask. Also, Oyo the worst ever services. They won't be reachable when you need them but scam calls you if you didn't book a hotel you looked. Be aware of them people at Hotel Chanakya, they cut call at your face. Do not book a hotel here, the stay here was the worst. No room service, no telephone. If you want chai you gave to go to the ground floor to ask them. If you need anything at night you won't get it, because no bell service or no telephone service works as it was said. Girls do not book this hotel. It's too shady. Only thing I enjoyed there and wants to keep in memory was the chai from the shop just in front of the hotel. Hotel is oveerall good but as I have booked it From different hotel provider application. I was not received the kind of a service I was accepting. Staff was good . Room floor was untidy . But later it was cleaned when asked. Bed sheets was also not properly clean. Room was having good space. washroom was also like above average.

The room was very dirty and Don't even ask about service. They made us sleep amidst thousands of mosquitoes and refused to give us even incense sticks. Moreover, the fare I had paid along with morning breakfast was also not given to me. This place is dirty like a public toilet. Please don't go here , full of spots on bed and pillow , mosquitos all over and floor full of hair and dust. Don't fall for the pictures they have added. Its all fake I paid for 2 days but seeing the place I left in 1 hour. Rooms: 1 Service: 1 Location: 1

No cleanliness in the rooms, there are lots of spider webs and the fan was so dirty & bathroom was not clean. Good view though from windows. Hotel management was very bad and their service was also ruthless and receptienist doesnt know how to talk with customers he talked very rudely. And talking about room cleanliness it was very bad dead mouse was in the room and it was smelling very bad it looks like it was from 4-5 days. I will not recommend this hotel. Very bad experiance. Worst hotel i have ever been to , hotel staff is greedy, and not willing to ready for pre decided online price , they took early check in charge more than mentioned and refuse to give room untill i agreed to their price, they told me that they don't care what i see online or agreed to pay on websute. room was dirty with fouling smell, sheets were stained, unhygienic and unwashed , They gave me water in the bottle from the trash . i will suggest not to visit this hotel in any circumstances. Worst place to stay. Unprofessional staff. Tried asking for coffee for IRD, got it after 1 hour. Rude behaviour of staff, completely unprofessional. Unhygienic rooms. Lift not operational since covid. Asked the staff to get it working asap as we were a group of 40 people including senior citizens then too they didn't get it repaired in our 3N 4D stay. Our room had rats roaming everywhere. Asked them to change the room but they didn't even bother checking into the matter. Don't go on the photos uploaded on social media, it's completely opposite of what you see. They don't even have consumable food. Everything is made extreme spicy, unhygienic kitchen. If you see the kitchen, you won't feel like having food in the hotel. It's better you have food somewhere else in a restaurant which is far more better than having your meal in the hotel with overpriced menu and unconsumable food. Tried ordering food from Zomato, they didn't even allow me to take the delivery. Had to consume my meal standing on road. They didn't even bother to come and clean the room even after asking for cleaning the room. The hotel is not at all maintained. It's so unhygienic that you might vomit. Their AC's are too slow takes hours to chill the room even after keeping the AC at the lowest temp. Absolute waste of money. Team OYO, start checking the hotels before you ever do the listing of any hotel on your website/app. They haven't cleaned the wardrobes since ages, dust everywhere in the room. Rooms are economical and is situated near the railway and bus station. The service can be improved a bit as at times no one is there to answer you and you are kept waiting. Secondly for elderly people lift is a must which was not functioning which was surprising for me. Rooms: 4 Service: 3 Location: 4
