Oxford Bookstore

The ambiance was absolutely perfect. They allow you to read a book for 10 mins and no pictures. There's a cafe attached to it which is joyful. They also sell stationery which are very classy and a bit on higher pricepoint but who doesn't like a leather bound diary.

The best place about this book is the way it has been designed. There is so much of books and from all possible genres. Once u step in, you will come out with at least one book in your hand. Very lively. Events do happen here and there is a cafeteria too. In all, an excellent place to visit alone, with friends, family and your kids too.

Large selection and the staff is happy to let you browse at your pace. Which is the best thing any book shop can do. They also have a good cafe in ChaBar where you can retire with you newly bought books and enjoy them with a hot cup of tea or coffee.

As I walked into the bookstore my ears were assaulted by loud Y2K music (with a focus on Akon). There were some decent books but the curation was terrible. Many titles also didn’t have any price tags. Some shelves weren’t even accessible because they were blocked by displays of trinkets and/or stalls manned by very bored sellers. The salespeople only seem to be concerned with yelling at people to not sit and read in the children’s corner. A lot of chatting (what do you expect when the music is so loud?). We also had a terrible iced tea at the cha bar. Overall: a very disappointing experience

The book store and coffee shop located in the outer circle of Connaught Place in a India’s capital is tastefully setup and has a wide variety of books and other stuff. I had first visited the place back on 2012 when it was not much known of. Today, it is so crowded that one may not be able to hear their companion(s) talk. However, the food and beverage quality, and the menu has been the same, uncompromising!

Very good bookstore you can buy all types of novels(semi popular to popular ones) and some obscure ones as well. Be aware of the pricing aa it will be in the higher side in general than other places. You do pay for the ambiance definitely.

Back in 2018-2019 ,there used to be a large section dedicated to reference books where you could find books of renowned academicians. Sadly the section has shrunk. More space has now been allocated to tarot card readers than important books. I was quite disappointed.

Atmosphere, staff, and staff behaviour are good Staff is always available The latest edition books But all these have a price, that price is that you will always get books at MRP and not at discount, this is a bit disappointing

If there would be an option for 0 starts that would be my choice . This is the worst place I've ever been . Staff was so rude and ill mannered. They don't even allow to click photos and one of their member's was CONTINUOUSLY following us like we're thieves and gonna stole anything. They were continuously staring which was surely so uncomfortable. There's so called sitting area at the center of the bookstore where they don't let you sit . A staff member will come and tell you to get up as it's kids sitting area even if there're no kids . I guess a bookstore should atleast a place to sit . DON'T EVER GO THERE !! OR YOU'LL SURELY REGRET AS WE DID !!

Overall it is a wonderful place. Food is also delicious but the books there are too expensive, you can buy it at half price online from Amazon and also they don't even let you click pictures or sit in the area they have for sitting.
