Very nice library for reading and buying books

The whole environment was awesome, almost found all the books I wanted. I'm a big fan of crime and thriller and I loved their collection.

A room which could lead you to many paths.. Ambient space, Happy faces, Great cafe, more than all many worlds in many pages. Its a heaven for book lovers. For others too, every inch of the store is a source of inspiration.

Okay place Good cafe and ambience but not a very good collection of books. They have little to no books in foreign languages. Can find better bookstores nearby.

I guess it’s good by Indian standards. I was looking for a store that could rival the best Barnes and Noble or Chapters Indigo. But this location paled in comparison. Specifically I was hoping to find a book store that offered a comprehensive inventory on books about Ancient India, Hinduism, Buddhism and Sikh History. Instead I found a very limited stock. The local focus was on more modern and relevant history. So if you’re looking for that there’s fairly decent material here. They do have a good selection of western authors and western books. If you’re a local this is probably a great place for you. As a foreigner looking for local books in English this was limited. But on the other hand it may be your best bet. I did find an English translation on the Bhagavad Gita. And and happy about that. Other reviews did give the impression that you could find comic books here. But at the time that I visited they had none. They did have children’s books and colouring books related to Marvel etc. But not actual comics.

Nicely located in the centre of Delhi, one of the place where most author's event are held in Delhi

This is a pathetic place now. I hope the managment committee read my review and makes certain changes:- 1. The staff is very irritating and unfriendly. I just entered the store and sat for a second in the sitting circle to take a breath the man asked me not to sit and go to cha bar instead. Also I picked up a book and opened it just to see what's it about, the same man came and asked me to keep it back as we can't open the book without purchasing. 2. Their is lack of good books. The store is arranged haphazardly . 3. It's good that bookstore has a cafe but it should not take the vibe of the bookstore. The music was so loud also the smell of food ruined the bookstore vibe. All in all , it's a total disappointment for book lovers.

Lovely place to eat and read. For all book lovers you get latest released books and decent range of food menu. Sit down with your book and sip some nice coffee along with pasta/ pizza/ sandwiches. The only missing thing was fresh air and I think that's how Cannaught place is made like as I visited Chayyos, Route 4 and I found all the places have closed interiors with almost no windows and high walls. But I like the genetry and the outlay of the books.
