Oxford Bookstore

They call themselves a bookstore, but are so insecure about their infrastructure, they won't let you sit while you choose a book. The sad excuse given is that the seating is for children, not adults. 90% of the time there are no children and the adults can't go through enough books standing to find one they like. I myself have seen people give up and resolve to look for their book online instead. Talk about a bookstore that shoos readers away.

AMAZING PLACE! If you like a public library sort of book store, with no time boundaries, it a to go place... Can pay through paytm as well. There is a cafe too and a secluded reading area too. Just a magnificent place XD

Amazing place for book lovers. It's a nyc library+ their cafe is also quite good your get 53 new chais there . Chai lovers must try

A very beautiful, contemporary bookstore that offers all sorts of books (in multiple languages) at MRP. It has been decorated very beautifully, and the variety of books is definitely unique. Displayed tastefully. The ChaBar (café) inside is also very tasteful and moderately priced.

Went on Christmas day, price is little bit high but atmosphere is really nice and recommended to visit . Variety of books are available

Always nice to visit a bookstore.

I was looking for a quiet place to enjoy some food and stumbled upon this place. From the name i thought it should be an ideal place. To my shock, this place was buzzing despite with people chattering, mostly students. Its a book store with cafe. Rates are reasonable as comoared to other place in CP. Service is slow and even the food served is average.

Great collection ranging from travel guides, history to international fictions. Best place to buy gift to your book loving friends. Chaai point available inside itself. Never feel time going when you are inside.

The best bookstore, having all genre of novels and handmade notebooks are also available. Other good thing about this bookstore is that it has a reading area and a canteen attracted to it where you can sit and read or sit and eat.

If the love for food and books go hand in hand for you then this quant little store could be your haven. They have a wide array of books-ranging from children's books to finance to cookery to fiction among a myriad other categories. But apart from this, the store gets cookie points for: 1) Its proximity to Cha Bar A popular hangout for the cafe kind of cuisine ,and I recommend you munch the fish and chips while you're immersed in your book 2) A children's play area If you have an energetic toddler around and have come to get them some kids books, then you can let them play here and select the best picture books for them in peace. 3) Space to read/ host a reading There is a dedicated space with comfortable seating which permits you to sit and glance through books (Of course you would like to be sure if this is the book you'd like to purchase, right?) The same space can be utilized to host a special reading/ recital if you're a budding author or poet , and you may contact the store for further details about this. 4) Local/ small -scale art and business promotion I've seen people selling knick-knacks like posters, handmade paper and little wonders of art. They set up a table and sell their merchandise if you'd be interested in unconventional and unique stationery
