Oxford Bookstore

Nice books but not a lot of variety. Especially poetry section.

Apart from the bookstore, there's a lovely cafe that serves delicious quick bites. They do some really nice cakes and muffins and have a nice menu of tea and coffee.

Less books on regional languages and on science also! The authority need to introduce a whole different section on science. Science books may also be there more or less! But delighted to see hosts of graphic novels and comic books there. Also found translation works from different language. Syed Shamsul Haq's one was also present there. The young salesperson there was quite amiable and kept smiling face. Four years later in 2023: Shrunken a lot. Far less regional language books, that section is extinct in fact. Less variegated genres of books—and on top of it, nowhere to be seated and rummage through the books. Anyway, was elated to find Catana Comics, Mazhar Ali Khan's Delhi 360°, Tagore in Everyman's Library and one published by Granta. But was disappointed to see a comic book on Yogi Adityanath.

It's a heaven for book lovers. Hard bound, paperbacks, mamga, creative diaries...... A bibliophile will get everything he/she desires. Great place. An oasis, indeed, in the busy place of CP.

Oxford Book store is one of the finest book stores that the NCR can boast of. The store has a vast collect of books of all genre. The cafe within the store permits one the luxury of reading through reviews at leisure while deciding which all books to buy during that visit. The store not only hosts a large number of book launches but also a number of other events like stand up comedy, urdu and other languages promotional events and ghazal evenings etc. It is a must visit when in the vicinity.

If you're a person who loves art, this place is perfect for you. You will find all your favourite books and the place is beautifully decorated. A dream for a book lover. :)

Excellent hangout spot with Cha Bar to quench your instant cravings and the elaborate book store to feed the soul! Whether with friend or alone, its a great place to spend some quality time!

The Cha Bar which is a part of the Oxford Bookstore,the behaviour of the staff has degraded over time. They don't give you the menu card just when you sit. You have to ask it for many times. The worst experience had been so far- when we asked for a normal cup of water and not a packaged drinking water, one of them said we can take the bottle and it would be free of cost. We were really tired and it was a very hot day in the month of June in Delhi. Later on a guy who seems to be some kind of an in-charge among the servers starts misbehaving with us in the worst way possible stating how we should be paying for the bottle and it should be in our common sense that water bottles are chargeable. When he was asked to solve the misunderstanding in a proper way he kept arguing and ended with the statement, 'This is the first and the last time we are letting you take it for free and won't allow the next time.' I am a frequent vistor at various restaurants and cafes and this is very rare that a staff of such a respectable and a popular place donot know how to behave with their customers. Iam disappointed by the server's behavior. Even if i have to go there the next time which i would avoid to my level best, i would definitely like to know his name. This is very sad.
