While casually roaming around CP, I stumbled upon this bookstore and walked in out of boredom — and honestly, it completely changed my mood. The place has such a calm and cozy vibe that you instantly feel relaxed. There’s a café inside the store, which makes it even better. You can grab a coffee and spend time exploring their really good collection of books across different genres. A perfect spot to slow down, read, and unwind. Definitely a happy surprise in the middle of CP.

I've spent countless hours browsing through Oxford Book Store in Connaught Place, and each visit is a treasure hunt. Their collection is vast and diverse, with something for every reader. From classics to contemporary bestsellers, fiction to non-fiction, and children's books to academic texts, they've got it all. The store's ambiance is cozy and inviting, making it perfect for getting lost in the world of books. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful, always ready to recommend their latest finds or assist with queries. What sets Oxford Book Store apart is its commitment to creating a community around reading. Regular book launches, author events, and workshops make it a hub for book enthusiasts. If you're a bookworm like me, Oxford Book Store in CP is a must-visit destination. Get lost in their shelves, discover new authors, and let the joy of reading take over! Rating: 5/5

I’ve been going to Oxford Bookstore since around 2010, and every visit still carries a strange sense of familiarity that never really fades. There are bookstores you visit, and then there are places that quietly become part of your timeline. This is the second kind. Walking in always feels a bit nostalgic now. The layout, the smell of books, the quiet corners where people still sit and read without rushing anywhere. It pulls you back to a version of yourself that was probably less distracted, more patient with time. Over the years, I’ve attended a few book launches here. Small crowds, authors speaking about their work, that soft hum of curiosity in the room. There’s something special about hearing a writer talk while standing surrounded by shelves that carry so many other voices. I’ve also done a poetry recitation here once. It wasn’t a big stage moment, more like a quiet sharing among people who were actually listening. But it stays with you in a different way. Not because it was loud or dramatic, but because it felt real in a very grounded sense. What I like most is that it hasn’t lost its character even after all these years. It still feels like a space that respects silence, thought, and slow wandering. In a city that keeps moving faster every year, that kind of place feels rare. Every time I leave, I don’t feel like I’ve just visited a bookstore. It feels like I’ve revisited a part of my own past.

It's a haven for bibliophiles, offering an extensive collection of books. The location is easily accessible, ensuring that readers can find their way without hassle. Inside, there is space to sit and immerse oneself in a good book. Occasionally, authors visit for meet-and-greet events. Additionally, the venue provides drinks and snacks, creating a relaxing environment perfect for hours of reading and literary exploration.

Good collection of books nice ambience, and a side cafe to enjoy the sip of coffee with your favourite books. Well love that oxford brought an interesting concept. Just one thing the prices of coffee and snacks could be more affordable, only a cookie ot two coffee can cost 500 well that's too much for a book lover.

Oxford Bookstore has a decent enough selection, but the management needs to look into their staff's behavior and the facility's cleanliness. Staff: Very unwelcoming. They kept staring at me after I took two pictures, yet allowed others to record videos without saying a word. Hygiene: The washroom is disgusting and clearly hasn't been cleaned in a long time. It was enough to make me want to vomit. I left feeling frustrated and uncomfortable. Definitely not the peaceful bookstore vibe you’d expect in CP.

I got in contact with them on our holiday in India while in Delhi to see if they had Jane Austens Pride and Prejudice in Hindi as it is a tradition of ours to take it buy it in the local language of every country we visit. They did not but asked for my number as they were going to make a few calls and try to get It for me although they couldnt promise anything. We were solo happy when we received a whatsapp from them that evening saying we could pick it up the next day!! Lovely cosy bookstore with a coffee shop and great staff. Definitely go back and buy more books if we are back in Delhi. Thankyou for everything

Huge, spacious book aisles that make one feel lost in the wonderful world of books! Beautifully curated space and shelves with enough knicknacks for kids and adults alike. Great lighting in the store, and I only wish they had some browsing chairs placed for tiresome people like me. They have super helpful store volunteers and a cool cafe adjoining the book aisles.

The new location is much better than the erstwhile place, but still not the same as the one that was there years ago in the Statesman house building. Books selection is limited, as majority area is dedicated to the Cafe. Worth a visit.
