Beware! Go deep in the market,beware of touts on the gate ,who lure with cheap rates. They cheap for a reason.(over aged,unwell chicken).This can be fatal. Go inside to main shops and meet owners and ask for good chicken.dont bargain too much. Usual rate for chicken is 80 per kg.you should be cool around that rate.

Smell of waste is in the air, make sure to wear your mask or cover your nose with something.

Its a very big market for buying and selling all types of chicken

Its good for non veg lovers .You will get every variety of non veg items like fish,meat,chicken all types of sea foods .(raw only) The prices are very competitive and cheap as per local retailers/butchers. If you plan a party and want to buy Raw meat,sea food,fishes,chicken etc you must visit this place. But the area is pretty messy and has stinking odur like in non veg shop we experience.

The fish market is just opposite to the chicken market. Also the best day to get fish is on Sunday morning 6am -10am . Sunday fresh fishes arrive, Tuesday market is closed. The main market on road is mix of river and sea fish, but the market inside towards the right side after the entrance is of sea fishes... Good place to get a ton variety of fishes in wholesale price and there are people who clean the fish @ 10/ kg for big fishes & @ 20/kg for small fishes..

Ask me 10%gst and don’t even provide the bill. 😀 no big deal its cheap anyways. Then took extra rs 80/- for cutting the meat. On the plus side you can drive there, parking is not an issue.

If you can tolerate the smell of fish and other rubbish then only visit...otherwise order online please...though it is quite clean as compared to my previous visit few years back. Fish is fresh and price is also quite low. You get chicken..processed and packed food too
