Kabutar Market

Honestly, the famous "kabutar market" is really overrated, there are rumours that there are more than 10 pet stores but thats a lie, there are about 5 at max, they have no fixed prices, whixh increase when seemingly well-off people are around. The Guinea pigs are in really bad conditions, about 10-15 in one cage. Ducklings and chicks have high rates, 200 a pair! They will claim a higher price if you ask on your phone, so I say if your interested, go in person. Most of the pets seem really unhealthy. The only reason why im giving 3 stars is because of the really low prices

Nice place, you'll get everything from fish to birds. You'll even get clothes, shoes, jeans everything at a cheaper price. You just have to get down to Jama masjid metro station and exit through gate no. 6 or 7 probably.

Kabutar market located in Meena Bazaar in front of Jama Masjid and Red Fort is a market for birds. People who love pet birds should go there. All types of pigeons, parrots, rabbits and other many birds are there for sale. It is very crowded place so visitors advised to keep care of their belongings, as there are too many pickpockets are roaming around freely.

very good market at jama masjid special for purchase birds and pigeon and parrots aur yaha ek baar jaroor jana chahiye quki bahut hi tarah ke birds milte h yaha aur yaha jane ke baad aap jama masjid aur red fort bhi enjoyment karke aa skte ho quki yeh market red fort aur jama masjid ke bilkul pass main hi hai

You can buy pet animals like rabbits, cats, dogs, love birds, pigeons and hen etc from here.It is also famous for lunda(old clothes) specially coats and jackets.Right in the heart of the city you can also visit Red fort and Chandni chowk.

Extremely pricey for 2nd hand market. Same products are available with twice the less rate. Not even ready to lower 10/-. No wonder ppl doesn't come here! Bad experience 👎👎👎

The place is quite congested and you must need to take utmost care of your belongings specially mobiles, purse and wallets. Mainly this market consist of pet sellers specially birds and rabbits, however these sellers are also selling some birds which are legally banned in our country as they are facing threat of their extinction so i advice not to buy such birds which are caught from wild and put into small iron wired cages just for the profit of few bucks, apart from that you can also buy luggage bags or similar travelling stuff from here but of average quality.

This place is literally a treasure box for pet lovers which sites near Jama Masjid (Delhi) it would take hardly five minutes if one walks from Jama Masjid to this place. This is a wholesale market where one could find different kinds of birds, also there were rabbits,hamsters etc,cages and bird food is also available here. Usually this place is very rushy and one could easily bargain and get what he/she wants.It was fun being there and it feels good to see yourself around those lovely creatures.
