C R Park Market No.1

This market is decent for a quick stop. You can find some food and sweets here 🍬, plus there's a fish and vegetable market which is handy 🐟🥦. There's also a mandir and a multipurpose store available. It covers the basics, but nothing really stands out. I found market no. 2 is better.

Its a bengoli people paradise ... All d groceries n fish are available... Foodie people can also enjy kolkata delicacy... Mughali paratha n nonveg chops n cutlets are must try.... Gol gapa (Phuchaka) are over hyped... I personally didn't liked it... Rs 50 for 7 piece is too expensive... For sweet lovers ..try malai cham cham n sandesh....gur sandesh 😍😍

If looking for bengal stuff this is the place even the vegetable have bengali stuff, also fish market, and not to miss the baked rasgolla and mishti dahi from aristocrat sweet

Its a true bengali market you will find almost all bengali cusine and as well people. Famous kolkata puchka you will find here and also chop, jhaal moori, aloo biryani and many more.I have attached some of the pic below.

Very good shopping complex for veraity of foods, Bengali cuisine, sweets and fish. As this market is surrounded by Bengali community, you may find here "Jhaal Mudhi", "Sondesh Sweets" "Maachh Bhaat" etc. This is also popular for street food and I tried cold coffee, it was awesome. It's quality was better than starbucks and price is so reasonable e.g. Rs.80.

Great places and one stop to buy everything a bengali person needs from Fish to dhooti. From books to vegetable. I have been visiting this market since I was a kid. Bengali sweets, bengali vegetables, fish, books, things for pooja, sweets, quick snacka and food everything is available here. However the only problem I feel in India is the authorities and people fail to keep most of the market areas clean. I wish the shop owners keep the area clean.

The market is a foodie's paradise. However it is very crowded and hygiene is not maintained.

This place is full of Bangla food and delicious sweets. It's a small market but has everything you need for bangla food preparation. From fish to chicken to vegetables and masala...all in this market. You can ask for a good bargain as well.

Market No 1 in CR Park is my go to place to get all my bong cravings satisfied in one trip. The jhalmuri and phuchkas are good but one can ignore the other food outlets as they are at the best very average. A great market to stock up on all the essential Bengali spices and condiments and the exotics like Gondhoraaj lebu, mocha, bullet chilies or the seasonal jolpais and batabi lebu. It also hosts one of the many decent fish markets in town. Albeit this one is more oriented towards the predominantly Bengali clientele. Though, I have at times found it to be a bit expensive.
