Really good bengali street food such as fish, mutton and chicken cutlets (in order of personal preference). Apart from that, some great tasting momos and ghughni are also favourites of this market. Only thing, the hygiene is a little questionable, but that's nothing new to street food joints. And obviously, the fish market is famous in the city!

It is wholesome market where you get everything you need in your life. From Bengali sweets to all kinds of meat, varieties of fish. Home stuff and everything. All in all it's a great market fir your daily needs.

Very congested and busy market. Various types of Bengali snacks,sweets and grocery items are available. A big fish market is there, all types of fish are available. Mutton shop is also there, can buy tender meat from there.

Very nice place to eat, shop and chat. Great place for Bengali people where authentic food, sweets, poulty, grocery and snacks. Things are slightly expensive than C R Park Market No 2.

Has decent food options, sweet shops, and almost all groceries you may need, especially for Bengali household. Good fish market also.

No. 1 place for Bengalis, love to be there always. Phuchka was just yummy, momo as well. Food lovers, specially non veg lovers can enjoy over there.

Good place for only those who have some nostalgia associated with Bengal. On the downside the place needs to be kept clean. And the food especially Bengali sweets and snack items do not taste that authentic.

Overpriced. Get your negotiating skill to use. Bargain hard. Quote half the rate. Food otherwise is Good. Especially the pani Puri. You'll also like Kolkata biryani here. I especially like the biryani. There's a lot of sandesh and sweets and misti dohi. Also, you get khajur gud and posta Dana here. Fish market is good but extremely costly. Pomfrets and prawns are the best. Rohu, katla are fresh.

Wow delicacies of Bengal. Sweets are a must try. Not to miss fish and chicken cutlets. Annapurna restaurant serves good Bengali food at affordable price.
