Do not eat chicken kathi roll me and wife suffered from diarrhea after eating one. They have lost the HYGIENE part and using some dirt cheap oil to prepare food.
This part of the city in New Delhi is very Bengali dominant. Traditions and cultures are very visible, people are sweet to talk to and you could enjoy Bengali cuisines at very reasonable price !!
You will anything that you find in Kolkata , from all sort fish to vegetables to yammy biryani to telebhaja to Bengali sweets. What not. Enjoy mini kolkata here.
Most Bengali local brands like sunrise masalas, mukhorochak, etc. are available here. And you get a mini Bengal here :) The only thing is it's quite crowded at most times
All type of Bengali grocery , vegetable and fish available. Little expansive.
Went to the market during Durga Pooja. Shops servings Bengali sweets are great. Veg Chinese chat is below average.
A local market place where you can get the daily stuffs. The fish market over there is pretty good actually which have good variety of fishes available Also you can enjoy the good bengali cuisines in the nearby shops.
Wonderful food. Almost every Bengali delicacies available. Rare Bengali spices and things like pach-phoron and khejur Gur r available
You can find fresh fish like Ilish, bhetki, papda, rui, shing etc. from East India like Kolkata and Assam. Most people understand Bngali.
Only if you are nostalgic about Calcutta and are yearning for the puchkas, then head for C.R. Park in south delhi. You may also savour the authentic bengali singharas and chops besides the famed bengali sweets. It's a mini Calcutta packed in the heart of south delhi.
