C R Market no 1 for Paani puri ( puchka's of Kolkata ) and have the jhal muri ( puffed rice mixture ) from the vendor just outside kali mandir ....enjoy
It's like small bengali society market . If you are bengali then you can buy anything like muri chire etc etc things from this market .and so many bengali restaurants are there like ami bangali ..
Popular place for street food, Bengali sweets, fresh fish. Great range of street food with authentic bengali cuisine and fresh vegetables from eastern India.
If you are a bong , you will be get everything you need from fresh fish to mouth watering Bengali sweets, everything , that's why it is called mini Kolkata.
Bengali Market.. Very famous in Delhi... Bengalis accross Delhi come here to collect special Bengali Masalas for Bengali Cuisines, like Kasundi, Panch Poron, Sorse, Posto, etc.
This place is situated in a good place, but market association doesnt give much attention on cleaning of the place as whenever you passed by you will smell of fish. The walking area could be much clean for visitors.
Best quality fish available here. Much better than INA Market or any other place in Delhi. Though the prices are high, but quality is just the best.
The best bengali market....all with fresh bengali vegetables, fruits, spices, snacks. The special part is its kolkata puchka(gol gappa), fresh fishes prawns, rolls
I had been to the Ananda Publisher shop in market 1. Collection at the shop was very good in spite of the inconspicuous size & ambience. The market is though smaller & less equipped than the bigger market 2.
