With the availability of salt water and various sweet water fishes/insects, this place is a Paradise for the carnivores. An early sunrise visit to the place allows you to get the best of the things. This place is bit stinky for the nose, but this struggle is so not a disappointment. Best time 5AM-8AM; Wednesday to Monday.

Good place to find all kinds of fresh fish at one place. But for retail buyer, cost is same as in their local market. Some sellers quote exorbitant rate, just to avoid retail buyer. Don't buy before checking the price with multiple vendors.

I love this market for variety of fish available if cheap rate. But you have purchase by carefully checking the condition of fish. I will recommended to purchase from inside shop instead of road side. Inside shop will take slightly higher price but fish are very good condition. You can get here crabs, sea fishes, very big ruhu & katla about 5/6 kg. Side by the fish market there is chicken market. There you can get small to big size chicken at the rate of about Rs100 per kg for whole chicken. For cleaning side by cleaning person is also available.

(1) come in normal dress because shopkeeper Tel price to see your cloth. (2) please carry a bag with you because their yu don't get bag. (3) Please fix the price for fish cutting because fish cutting yu charge Extra 10rs per kg.

Yes that's the place for Fish lovers ! . You get varieties of sea fish and fresh water fishes here. The rate is lower than those who sell fish in cycle or sit under trees. You can buy any amount or any variety of your choice you want ! I take my scooty and ride to this place for some delicious taste of sea food. Also you will get different species of Crabs, Lobster, Prawns, Small fish, Big fish , the list is never ending!!.. But please be advised to wear boot shoes or cover your feet as there are garbage are lying here and there!

Good place for various types of fish (fresh water and sea fish) at whole sell price. But Live fish varieties are limited ( I could not get Rohu, Katla when I visited). Minimum purchase quantity is typically 1 KG.
