You can visit lajpat nagar market almost for everything. There are various home decor shops, boutiques that sell designer sarees, suits etc, accessory shops, woolens. Also if you are on a budget you can shop from the stalls that sell tops, sweaters, stoles, leggings, and trousers. I went there specially to buy shoes from the export shop and got adidas originals canvas shoes for just 1000 bucks. The quality and the look is pretty nice.

Central market is famous for for the clothes at cheaper rates as compared to the showrooms.clothes stuff & designs are really good here. Love this Market and would like to come here again & again whenever i get the chance to visit Delhi

We are tourist and this is a local market so different but it had everything you might need. You just have to dig around to find it. The shop owners are helpful and polite.

Stuffs are unnecessarily expensive. The same stuff you get in Sarojini for much cheaper price and the shopkeeper's are difficult to negotiate with but I would definitely recommend you to try out their street food cause it's amazing especially 'Ram ladoo'

This a great market, much better than Chandi Chowk. We started at the car park off the main road and walked down the road where there were lots of market stalls outside the market, on the road side, there were also some good shops which had some designer wear for cheap - I believe these to be fakes but can not confirm. You then enter the main market and yes it is busy busy but no where near as busy as Chandi Chowk. You can get some great bargains here, you can haggle and most are very friendly and helpful.

My favourite market in New Delhi. Super crowded always .You can get anything here from Indian ethnic wear to costemic.Household items to crockery. Indian juttis, kurtis etc. Great place to shop for wedding clothing if you want to cut the chase along with some amazing Street food .love it

Overall the place is a must visit for shopping enthusiastic people, but try to avoid visit the place on holidays because it gets kuch crowded in the weekend or on other holidays.

Lajpat Nagar central market is a heart and soul of shoppers. What ever you can think to shop is available here in the market starting from daily wear casuals,footware,accessories to wesding attires for men and women. Market open at 11 am every morning Tueaday to Sunday till 9 pm. It is easily accessable from metro as there ia a dedicated metro station for the place. Cabs and other commuting options are available easily. There are ample options for fooding from famous street vendors to restaurants. Place is not at all expensive when it comes to shopping. Its a perfect place for wedding related shopping to home decor things. Parking is also not an issue but you have to be carefull at the weekend as all the parking is full at that time, have to struggle for that. 20 rupees per hour ia parking rate.
