1) If you want to buy ethnic wear or nehru jackets,there are few shops where you can get good and best priced items though mostly they have fixed the price. 2) But this area gets bit crowded after 3 pm. 3) There are few eateries where you can taste good quality non veg food items. 4) If someone is fanatic for certain set of religion,he might find it tough there but People are good there so do visit this place and get items you need.

Batla House market, a very crowded place located near Jamia Millia Islamia University. In this market you can find all the necessary items at genuine rates. Dress shops, general stores, grocery stores, hotels, restaurants, vegetable market everything is there in this market. But it is a crowded place especially at the occasion of Eid it becomes heavily crowded.

Market is good. Slowly gradually it has replaced Jama Masjid area's market. You will get all basic household stuffs, food and fruits, clothes etc with an affordable price range. However the market is over crowded. If you are unable to walk than this place is not for you. Also never ever take your car inside the market because it will get stuck in the market for hours n hours. Walk around the Market and enjoy ur shopping.

A very good market having almost all the household belongings, esp it has plenty of garments shops. A good strech with many decent restaurants and confectionaries besides other item. Though a bit congested, recommended not to go through own vehicles esp four wheelers.

Very dense place. But of course Market is very good at there. Specially there are lots of for the people who love crunchy and delicious food and for those who wanna purchase good traditional clothes for women. There are also shops for men's garment but the quantity they provide is not much satisfactory. But for women, there is lots of varieties are there.

Good place to buy any kind of clothes specially ladies clothes and shoes, lover etc in marginal price.

Good for children clothing, women clothing, makeup and jewellery, men’s clothing, daily house gold items, competitive rates, a the best part is good non-veg restaurants all around. Usually when I go to this market I find all my required stuffs in this market. So go with family, shop, and enjoy the best Delhi non-veg dishes
