Its a government nursery , and a very big one, one can find many types of plants available here . But don't expect anything from the gardeners as they don't help much and seems uninterested and restless.
The best nursery in South Delhi with government subsidised rate for the plants and saplings. Preferred timing to visit the Mehrauli nursery is during 9.30-11 am, as relatively the staffs are less occupied and give you sufficient time to attend and guide.
One of best nursery...better than sundar nagar...rn summer plants are available..zinnia, kochua, sunflower..both in polybag and pots. Polybag plants are of 25 bucks. In pots it's around 40-50 bucks. Perinial plants are also available. U can buy plants only through card payment. They don't accept cash.
One of the best nursery in the country. Prices of the plants are reasonable. We bought Tomatoes 🍅 plants and compost. They accept only card payment, no cash. It's a large nursery with varities of options for flower and herbs. Garden has a dedicated section for different varities of Roses 🌹. Please do visit the nursery whenever you are in Delhi.
Best nursery of South Delhi, with lots of variety and healthy plansts. Very genuine price (half of market).
A very nice and really big govt owned nursery. Prices are also much cheaper than the fancy pvt nurseries dotting all around delhi. If you bring your own bag, a cement bag size bag full of soil is going to cost just 60 rupees. Always visit this place with some extra time on hand to allow you to explore. With Sanjay Van City Forest nearby, you will also get to see many birds. The kids will also love the colourful butterflies flying about the equally colourful flowers all across.
It was surprisingly pleasant visit. Connect with birendra ji and he will tell you all about the plants. He is very helpful and a nice person. After a horrid experience in hauz rani nursery it was a complete opposite experience. Do keep in mind it not a place where you get free plants. Though the price is highly reasonable. Another thing only card payment is accepted.
Very huge nursery opposite to NCERT. Went there with my friend. We both loved it as the prices were so affordable. So cheap. The plants quality is amazing. Not many exotic plants are there but you will stil lget vast variety to choose from.
