The Delhi Emporium, also known as "The Central Cottage Industries Emporium," is a prestigious platform showcasing India's rich and diverse handicrafts, textiles, and traditional arts. Located in the heart of Delhi, it is a hub where artisans from across the country bring their creations, offering an authentic glimpse into India's cultural heritage. Established to promote indigenous crafts, the emporium serves as a bridge between rural artisans and urban consumers. Visitors to the Delhi Emporium can explore an extensive range of products, including handloom fabrics, sarees, pottery, jewelry, furniture, carpets, and other home décor items. Each product reflects the skill and dedication of craftsmen from regions renowned for their traditional crafts, such as Banarasi silk from Varanasi, Pashmina from Kashmir, terracotta from Bengal, and brassware from Moradabad. The emporium is not just a shopping destination; it plays a vital role in sustaining traditional crafts by offering artisans a platform to sell their goods directly to customers. Through this, it helps preserve and promote India's cultural heritage while ensuring fair trade practices for the artisans.

The emporium provides a great variety of traditional and cultural products originating from various Indian states including Bengal, Gujrat, Bihar and more. I personally loved the Bengal store the most in terms of variety and service, both. Definitely worth a visit!

Five stars for quality jewelry made of semiprecious stones. Salesperson at Jewelry counter is extremely knowledgeable. Decent ready to wear clothes at a decent price point if you have limited time .At least you won't get ripped off.

Good collection of antique items. Most are the Govt owned ones , but the private ones offers better discounts. Also Govt under taking ones closes at 6.30, rest are open till 8pm. So please check timings before visting

Over priced items that can be found at Paharganj on Main Bazar road. The local touts milling about outside the Emporium try to get you to go to another shopping area, telling you the Emporium is closed.

The collection was good... I bought a cotton suit piece from this emporium.. It was nice and reasonable. However, the problem is there accounts and finance department. Due to network issue inside the shop the payment through Gpay went twice. And they took exactly one month and seven days to call me and let me know madam we are sorry our finance department is saying we can't repay the customer because it's against our rules. Further they say that I have to escalate the matter through different different departments and send emails. I was already frustrated with this nonchalant behavior of Emporium which is backed by Government. I told them to keep this extra payment as a gift from customer.... SO THINK TWICE BEFORE MAKING PAYMENT VIA GPAY OR JUST UPFRONTLY ASK THEM FOR WIFI in first go only.
