Used book store in Ber sarai caters students with University and various competitive exam books as well storybooks for book lovers. You can find new books also and notes for IAS preparation

The place is full of book stalls but you will not be able to find any useful book here. I don't know if the shopkeepers here sell anything or just sit around to see other people going. I have been visiting this place for 7 years but have found nothing in these shops. Shopkeepers are arrogant to their every breath. Their eyes tell that they are bored to death or they have had fight with their wives or they have unworthy sons who never go to schools or colleges, still their father as a shopkeeper selling books to other children. I remember one time when all were looking so interested and alive and talking to each others. I was curious enough to go and see what was going on. Suddenly these zombies became alive and I found out that they were just listening to radio which was broadcasting cricket. So you can relate cricket and india. Anyway whenever you will ask "Bhaiya, kya yeh X name vali book hai?" The answer will always be, "NO."

There are good number of book shops in Ber sarai. Very helpful for students. Can get both used and new books, registers and other study material.

It's okay. Actually now they don't have the wide variety and selection of books that they used to have. Perhaps it is because people these days don't read much. Prices are okay. But if you can drive a hard bargain then you'll come back pleased with yourself.

Good place to buy all kind of books... Related to competitive exams or course book. U can find various book stores here and by any chance u didn't get a book in one shop u can get it from another. And one more good thing is that u can find various street food here.

Great place for first hand and second hand books. You can find here books for enginerring, tenth, eleventh, tweleveth, and below too, medical, gate related, other exam related too over here. There are plenty of shopd here from where once can compare the latest edition and also the price. They also take the old book from you at a resonable price. I am giving four star just because i was unable to find a book related to some exam after seaching each and every shop still cant find. So some exceptions are there.

Make sure to get latest editions as they try to push you old editions in case you're not attentive. If possible, I would recommend buying new books if they're really important and are going to be used regularly. Finally, for selling, they'll buy only if the collection is complete and sound.

Good for academics, competitive material irrespective of any exam in India. But literature doesn't have this luxury. There are very few books in literature and from foreign authors - absolutely rare.
