I got to know about this place just today, when I happened to visit Bahrisons at Khan Market. There I saw an old article pasted on one of the walls, where CMYK was mentioned. I visited it and my god. It’s no less than a museum/art gallery. I guess there are very few places on earth that have such a rare collection of books and Delhi is lucky to have it. Had a very great conversation/experience at CMYK with Mr. Vinay!!!
Such a chic, Pinteresty bookstore with a hugely eclectic curation of books from all different genres. They do weekly/monthly exhibitions on various topics and themes. The staff is friendly, warm, welcoming and well researched, and encourages you to spend time exploring, and even initiate conversations. All in all, this flagship store of CMYK is a true paradise and heaven for book and art lovers, aficionados and avid readers alike, nestled in the tiny yet super trending Meherchand market. Would highly recommend this place to everyone! Lovely experience and hospitality! :)
CMYK is not just another book shop, it is an experience. Part art gallery, part books - the place, though small, has an excellent collection of books curated by helpful staff. Currently the display features Unbound Delhi which showcases books, maps and other materials on Delhi, specially it's monuments and secular culture. On the pleasant evening that we landed, There was a discussion on Delhi's Street Food. Two eloquent authors, both experts on Delhi food, shared their experience with a small gathering. Like always it was a pleasure listening to Pushpesh Pant - the master foodie who can guide you to the best of food joints in the city. With him was Rakhshanda Jalil talking about Mr Pant's latest book From the king's table to Street Food. A lively evening.
